Thank you for this video, it's made it so much easier to get into the swing of using the patterns and getting used to mosaic crochet. My now much warmer hands also thank you.
This is such a cute pattern and thank you for the tutorial it was super easy to follow, instead of gloves I used it to make a really cool blanket for my son! Thank you again this was really easy to follow
I am a beginner at mosaic patterns and I love love LOVE this pattern. Love your style. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I hope to see lots more of your mosaic patterns on here. :D
Thank you for this tutorial. I will definitely be using it! I am such a visual learner that I have to follow videos. I love this tiny skull! I have been wanting to work on mosaic and this will be perfect to get used to it. Awesome explaining the whole way through. You're a great teacher. 💜
I so love this & I love your work as well. I hope that you do more video's like this. You're a very creative designer and you inspire me very much. Thank you so much.
This is such a good tutorial!! It fits me...explainatory needs 😅 100%. Also what you skipped, where you went into detail, what you pointed out you like. Tips. Love it.
I love this pattern but I'm having a little trouble crocheting it , not because is hard is because I have never done it, I know how to crochet, knit, even Tunisian , and many things more, is just the fear of something new that scares me. I tell you what I fallow your video, and it seemed easy until we got to the D's , but I got it done. Thank you for a wonderful video and extra for it been so clear 🙈😘
This is beautiful! Thank you for the detailed tutorial, it helps me and others who are new to overlay mosaic crochet. I’m going over to your Etsy shop to check out your patterns now that I’m starting to feel more confident with being able to work with mosaic charts. ✌🏼
I finally forced myself to try! I ended up frogging a couple of times but got there in the end. The mittens was abit too much for my first go, so I stopped at the first skull and made a sweatband instead.😅 I think im grasping it, will just need more practise. Thank you so much for your patience in teaching this technique, I love it!🖤 What was the yarn you used? Its beautiful.
Love your designs. I’ve made a few now, and decided to give these hand warmers a try. Quick question, what would you advise in changing it so the skulls are facing the other way, eyes up if you’re looking at your hand? If it’s not too much to explain in a reply. Thx.
The skulls would end up being upside down if you make them that way. You should be able to just make the thumb holes further down and wear them the other way.
So cool! How did you learn how to do this? Its like watching a genius manipulating the yarn into such beautiful patterns...the skulls just seem to magically appear. Id love to give it a go but my confidence isnt quite there yet.🖤
@lesyamicallef6616 the 3rd row is when the mosaic pattern starts. There are no color changes... please watch the video to see how the technique is worked.
You could, I would go for something thinner than worsted, just so they don't come out too thick. I haven't made them in cotton yet, but now I want to try!
I love your patterns but for some reason my double crochets are not close together like yours. I have gaps and the alternate color shows through. :(( Any suggestions?
@@jenicecurrie4278 a lot of people prefer crocheting in the round to avoid weaving in all of the ends. I hope you find a technique that works for you. Good luck!
Bonjour j’aimerais bien m’essayer de faire ces magnifiques mitaines. J’aimerais savoir la grosseur de crochet S.V.P. et cela serait intéressant des sous-titres en français, merci
Grrr. First let me say aesthetically, I LOVE THIS PATTERN. From a technique stand point... I loathe it. Allow me to explain, I am left handed, so any graphic pattern is going to be a bitch to flip. Consequently I have spent the last two days attempting to get the double crochet stitches on my mitts to look like yours. I haven't been at all successful. The single crochet stitches are not an issue. The double crochet are just not working. In your video, you come UP through the bottom row SC. As a left handed person, the only way I can access the bottom row SC for a double crochet is top down. This directional difference put a different twist on the DC, leaving all kinds of weird open spaces and odd lumps. Then comes the thumb hole for the left glove. Figuring out how to change the opening from the left to the right is tricky enough, now flip it upside down. I am bound and determined to figure out a left handed work around if it takes me a friggin week of 8 hour days fiddling with this pattern.
