Russia refuses to blame ISIS for Moscow terror attack despite growing evidence. Although the U.S. says they had shared with Russia intelligence pointing towards such an attack, the Kremlin said Russia’s security services had not accepted any help from the West. The whole saga brings forth several questions. Why is Russia questioning assertions by the U.S. that ISIS was behind the attack?

Those four men are scapegoats. Everything they report on TV makes zero sense. There was over a dozen of well trained people, acting professionally, impeccably executing the plan in a timely manner. Russians special forces did everything possible to be late at the site, letting the four people drive hundreds of miles, then capturing and torturing them, immediately disclosing it all in the media. Every antiterrorist expert is saying that's the way to thwart any attempts of investigating what really happened.

NO, they arrived at the scene in 25 minutes, it took them longer to enter the facility (1 hour to an hour and a half). How else is this supposed to happen???? First, you have to study the plan of the building, make a plan to break into the building, organize/ divide the tasks,... How did American intelligence know about this? You think they have informants in some small obscure Islamic group recruiting wannabe terrorists in the outskirts of Russia? @@segineseju464 Russia was ALREADY into alert mode because there have been MANY terrorist attacks (some successful like with Daria Dugina, some unsuccessful, some thwarted by FSB) and also there was a Presidential Election going on. Once the election ended, most Security guys were allowed to take their leave because they had worked a lot the previous weeks, that's why the terrorists found a window of opportunity to act successfully. But the US warning concerned another time and place, and that's what I commented on.

Because security officers died in this attack, they called in special response teams instead of regular police to respond. And that took a considerable more time due to the nature of the outfit. It was also during rush hour but i didn't look into that to see if it was true.

Having been warned, authorities should have placed armed plainclothes police in strategic positions at concert halls, etc., that blended in with other concert goers. There were no patrol cars parked at the entrance. And there were about 6,000 people !!! Criminal negligence ! It is very strange , given the warnings of the United States to the state security agencies . Something here is not purely on the part of the Russian authorities. Given Putin's confident performance in front of his FSB , even before the terrorist attack . On the contrary , he accused the United States of attacking the Russian Federation and provocative messages . That 's how ungrateful Putin acted . @@deadly3024 If authorities heeded the warning it is likely that they reacted by stationing heavily armed guards at venues in downtown Moscow. That tipped off the perpetrators so they chose a concert hall where a visible presence of security was absent. Russia does not have a reputation for being subtle that in this instance was a mistake. Officers in civilian clothes, with concealed weapons, blending in with the crowd, would have been effective in bringing this attack to a rapid conclusion.

How come they are not talking about why it took Russian police over an hour to respond when the police station is just around the corner. Police is there at every event. The metal detectors was even shut off and they let everybody in. This smells fishy to me. 🐟
