Composition VII (1913) is one of the most significant works by Wassily Kandinsky. It is rightly considered to be the pinnacle of Kandinsky's artistic work in the period before the First World War. The tour reveals the story of the painting as well as some of the thoughts and emotions that the author conveyed in his work. The visitors will dig deep into the sophisticated textures of curves and lines created by the pioneer of abstract art. The tour is conducted by Tatyana Balitskaya, an employee of the educational department at The Tretyakov Gallery.
