I've seen many people try to copy this and, whilst they have the basic moves down, they always seem to lack that certain smoothness and relaxation that Kelly and O'Connor had. THIS is how to do it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I was thinking "I wonder if someone reenacted this?" And someone has. Super imptessed by this.

Only version of this song I've ever seen that matched Gene Kelley's ridiculously energetic dance break at 00:37 through 00:43 in the video. Even some of the Broadway performances don't manage to perfectly recreate his exact dancing style down to the same arm and leg motion as the original. And also don't think that by specifically praising the "Gene Kelley" dancer in this video that I'm not just as impressed by the other dude dancing Donald's part. They are both fantastic, that one specific section of dancing though I linked was just particularly good in my opinion

It takes something special to for me to bow down in awe to a re-enactment of one of the best dance sequences in musical history. This is it. It's enough to make a grown man cry with joy.
