It's weird to think you use to be able to order a gun from the Sears catalog and have it delivered to your house no background check. My middle school had a .22 range in the basement that my Dad could bring a box of .22 to school and shoot them during gym class or after school. It is weird that we use to meet at school with our shotguns before heading off to the state trap shoot. We use to bring our hunting bow to school and shoot them for gym class. If I have to choose between banning all guns and the risk of having all guns legal I will take the risk. At least I can protect my family. I definitely don't trust someone else to do it. The police take 15 minutes to arrive if they even arrive where I'm from so yeah I'll take the risk.
