JOYO AC Tone - British Amp Emulator Pedal
The AC Tone guitar pedal is designed primarily to be used in place of an amplifier when you are recording direct into your computer, or plugging straight into the mixing desk in a PA system. Replicating the iconic Vox AC30 amp sound, this pedal is a great time and space saver when you need to capture that classic British rock sound in your recordings, but don't have the facilities or budget to spend on mic'ing up the real thing at the high volume to produce the same tones.
Built in speaker simulation is an integral part of the CLASSIC Series circuitry. Each model is tuned to match the speaker/cabinet of that amplifier. It is designed for a smooth, even response as
would be achieved by a multiply-miked cabinet, without the peaks, valleys, and notches associated with single miking.The shape of the speaker curve will not adversely effect or interfere with the
frequency response of your own cabinet.There is no need to defeat the speaker simulation circuit when using it with a guitar amplifier.The speaker simulation works in tandem with the EQ controls to custom tailor the overall sound.

My ears are garbage and I'm new to electric guitars / pedals, so feel free to ignore my opinion.. :) For me, the Joyo AC Tone (and Joyo Oxford Sound) seem to be lacking "something" for most of the low gain range... So, at lower voice/gain the Mosky seems to have a bit more clarity, which is kind of inspiring (I wasn't really inspired by the Joyo here)... But at higher voice/gain - whatever it is that i'm calling "clarity" seems to become shrill to me with the Mosky... and although I can hear the individual notes a bit cleaner - they get lost... where as the Joyo does a great job of making everything ... um... "together" (?) at high gain. And I like that... but I think I intend to play more low gain sorts of things... It would be interesting to record them both at the same time, phase invert one of them, and then see what the difference in EQ curve I'm hearing... but after listening to the use case, apparently I don't need these pedals. I'm not plugging into a PA, and I intend to use VSTs in a DAW - when that day arrives. So my personal takeaway is that I like the Mosky at low gain, the Joyo at high gain, and apparently I like the sound of the AC-30. :) Thanks for another great review.

To my ears they do not have the Vox AC 30 famous chime on the top end. The only one I heard that appears to nail it is the new NUX '63 Diamond. Unfortunately it is so new that the paint is wet and no one has stock, only pre-orders
