Nice video. We are Finnish caravanners and know how fun this kind of travelling can be. That's true that Lapland is a mosquito hell around the midsummer. We spent our midsummer night in southern Lithuania this year and there were no mosquitos at all. Also I haven't seen them this summer here near Helsinki where we live. Usually here are some in June, but not very much. But in the north it's different... :) We made our latest trip to Lapland in September and then we also drove to the northeastern corners of Norway. There are video series in our channel about that trip too. The videos are in Finnish but there are subtitles in English, if you are interested.

We really liked Lapland and Finland in general and we are hoping to go back to Finland when there are less mosquitoes ;) And then we can check out the southern part too, including Helsinki. @@ourcamperstories I subscribed your channel and I'm waiting for your experience from those places. We liked them a lot! We went to the north on the second week of September because statistically the autumn colors are the best just then. After that by the end of September all the leaves drop to the ground there. Of course there's a little risk for snowing but it didn't get real on our trip. The temperature was something between 5 and 10°C. Also the strongest northern lights are around autumnal and vernal equinoxes. In June we drove around the Baltic sea. We took a ship from Naantali, Finland to Kapellskär, Sweden and on the next three weeks drove through Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Finally we sailed from Tallinn to Helsinki. Then we had to drive only about 30km from the Helsinki west harbour to our home. Videos will be published later.

@ Wow, you've made some big trips already! We are hoping to see the northern lights sometime too but we aren't sure that will happen this trip. We need to go south at some point of course. But for now we are really enjoying the North of Norway.

@@ourcamperstories yes you won't see them on this trip because the sky doesn't get black in the nighttime. You are two months early for that :)

@ Yeah and though we are staying here for 2 more months, by the end of that we should be more south. But that just gives us a reason to come back some time :)
