Nice video sir..u have a lot of patience.. I have learnt a lot from u..not only chemistry topics but even that fighter attitude & all.. Thanku sir.. U are a role model for many students..
thanks for this and other two lecture on quadrupole and spin cross over . I'm searching for good video lectures on mossbauer spectroscopy (MS) for past 1 month . i saw your video but never checked it .may be because I'm physics student and whenever I saw gate chemistry I just scroll down. my bad .....:p I need to give a presentation on MS in my class and its case studies in research but can't understand its application to structure determination and isomer shift application .your lectures helps me a lot in understanding these . thank you so much . keep it up ...
Don't have words to express my gratitude to u sir...after 10 days there is my final exam of spectroscopy......before watching ur videos I was soooo worried....by now m preparing from ur videos....n they r really very helpful .....Sir plzzzz make video on NMR of paramagnetic substances in solution ....Thanks again sir...
Sir, The effective nuclear charge is the net positive charge experienced by valence electrons. It can be approximated by the equation: Zeff = Z - S, where Z is the atomic number and S is the number of shielding electrons. How can the valance electrons shield the the elelcrons inner shell?
thank u so much. first time I'm going through the mossbauer spectroscopy. I got a clear idea abt this. i think the clarity of the video is not that much a problm
if Mossbauer spectrum of FeCO5is recorded in the presence of magnetic field the original spectra with two lines changes into how many lines ? plzz explain sir
What is d difference between mossbauer nuclei n gamma source ..r they same.. r different cos a question was asked in June 2013 ..which is mossbauer nuclei..139^I,57^Fe, 121^Sb,57^Co
sir can u plz tell how many peaks potassiumhexacyanoferrate n potassiumpentacyanonitrosyl ferrate.....show in mossbaeur...plz sir answer it.... singlet or doublet...will potassium show different peak....plz solve it
Hello sir ..... Please solve this problem Q. Interpret Mossbauer spectra of FeSO4, 7H20 from given data ( given , δ= 0.119 aqnd 0.130 cm/sec, Δ EQ= 0.32). Thanks
this video was extremely useful .... Thank you sir !! by the way , we r still waiting for the 5th video of ur group theory lecture series ... plz post the 5th video 😇
At 31:52 min of the video you told that Fe(+2) low spin has higher isomer shift than Fe(+3) high spin. This is not clear to me because in Fe(+2) low spin there is no eg electron whereas in Fe(+3) we have 1eg electron available in it . In that case as eg electrons are more effective in shielding the s electrons. Than i feel that the order must get reversed. Plz explain sir.I am clear on this.
Sir if it so....dn in case of tin is it that in presence of pi acceptor ligands like CN CO responsible for formation of low spin complexes will lead to decrease in d el density ie increase in s el density and hence increase in isomer shft?
