I just got a Mossberg Patriot Rifle in 30-06. This is my first center fire rifle, I am mostly a pistol guy. I was not sure about the take down or assembly at all. This RU-vid is great, I now know how to take care of my rifle. Thanks very much for making it.
Ya that was a big help , I just went target shooting 4 rounds , using 140 G reloads into IMR 4895 @ 46.7 Gr - 270 cal Moss 4x4 4th round took the extractor off the bolt I did`nt have the mag in the rifle be darned the spring and clasp fell into my hand lost the ball and the bullet press pin seems stuck , Watching this sure helped as to fix it easy .Thanks Subbed
My God...Excellent video, but I am just shocked how complicated this design is compared to original Mauser whose bolt can be taken apart in less than 30 seconds without any tools.
Do you know how I could go about getting a new barrel? UPS messed up the crown of my barrel so it has to be recrowned and I'd just rather get a new barrel but don't really know how to go about this.
Just got an atr100 in 308 was wondering if the stock and mag from a 4x4 or another mag fed mossberg would fit,,looks the same as mine just dont wanna fork out the money and be wrong
@@joshuastinson6570 I never found out I couldnt get an answer out of anyone and never got an email back from Mossberg to say ya or nay so I sold it and bought a Ruger mpv in 556 and it takes ar mags. By the time I bought the Atr and bought all the stuff even if it all did fit for just a few more dollars you can buy one that doesnt need upgraded..
Larry I may consider getting a Patriot model or even just a Remington 700, but I got the ATR for free so I wanted to see what I could do to it. Can’t find any info on this rifle even from their own website...
