Great setup. 30-06 served the military for decades. 1000 yd shots were common with USMC back in the day. That round made B.A.R. such a badass. Me , I ll grab the 5.56 mm for those you mentioned in the video. Ohio is shotgun state with few exceptions . But of I could I d probably go with 308 another round that has served us on the battle fields past present future.
They are great rifles. I have one in 270 and I wouldn't take anything for it. My youngest son bought me a boyds stock and leupold scope for it. I've never taken a deer with it but my son killed some wild hogs and he said it dropped them where they stood.
Nice gun, nice shooting. That’s great that you can shoot 100 yards on what I assume is your property. I can only pull around 75 at best, because of the lay of my land. We routinely set up comfortably at 60 yards. Good video 👍
