Thanks for this honest review, I'll have to do a little more research, especially about the low wattage numbers you are claiming before I purchase it...

Thanks! Yeah it's great, it's comparable to the dometic fridge that I've used. It stays around that 1-3 watts for most of the time but kicks up to 30 watts every once in awhile. If you plan on getting it cold from room temp it will run higher for longer till it reaches that temp. That's why I get it to temp at the house before I leave.

Great review. Very much appreciated. Two quick follow up questions: 1. What's the size of the Jackery (battery-wise) and 2. How long does that fridge last if it's just plugged into the powerbank. You mentioned it was a small draw, but could you get away with using just the battery for 3 or 4 days out camping without recharging the battery?

Thanks!! 1. So the jackery we use is the 500watt one. 2. So I haven't tested exactly how long it would last, but from my experience I could easily see at least 5 days. It does also depend on how full the fridge is. If it's an empty fridge it uses more power to stay cold. Also factor in how hot the environment the fridge is in.

@@SeekingEscape perfect. I have a Bluetti AC50S which is also 500W so it's comparable in capacity. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on the Euhony 32L which should fit in my Jeep and keep me supplied for a few days out in the backcountry easily then. I can recharge with the car battery while running, but don't want to have to rely on that. Thank you!

@dave.in.oregon oh yeah you should be golden with that setup. Anytime we drive to a new spot we always plug the fridge and jackery into the Jeep and it keeps everything topped up just fine

Good movie myself have one exactly the same, but from the brand Vevor, I also have 2 larger ones of 55 liters from Vevor that look exactly the same, I am so satisfied, works well when you go on a long trip and buy cheap food.

Have the same Euhomy unit and just completed a 2 month trip to the SW with temperatures above 105 degrees and this unit worked flawlessly. Power was from car when moving and 200 w solar panels and 1.2 kw Bluetti solar battery when camping. It maintained any temperature it was set to. Under the conditions I was using it at, 0.5 kw would not be enough to run the fridge with adequate reserve. Power draw was between 30 watts at a low at startup but mainly between 50 and up to 75 watts but that also included other small draws for iPad and iPhone that were charging at the same time. The Euhomy was also forgiving of not being level. I had it in the backseat of my car the whole time and it did not have any issues being other than perfectly level.

Partner and I are going for 1 week road trip to Utah. I’m planning to use a power bank (jackery 500) to power up the fridge (set power pt35) and plugged into the vehicle’s battery while I’m driving. My stupid question is would this have an effect on the vehicle’s battery or alternator? I’m also using a solar panel 100W while we’re camping. Thank you very much!

Oh you should be fine. Most of the car refrigerators out there have a built in battery protect mode. As long as your battery isn't too old then you should have no issues. Only recommendation is to make sure it's plugged into the jackery when the car is off
