This updated video came out at the perfect time! I really need XP rates for these thing if the video is going to be useful though. After watching the video I now know about a ton of AFK methods, but no idea which ones are worth it for *me* specifically. Great video though, thanks for the info!
Monkfish are notable for afk fishing as well if you don't have a fire cape. I moved over from Barb and Sacred Eels. It's so chill and the bank is right next to the spots.
I got my only base-game 99, cooking, by cooking Sharks and such at the Hossidius Kitchen for reduced burning. It was a nice mix of profit and exp/h. I actually invented my own little "to 99" path with it. Cooking potatoes, corn and tuna to get my levels up, then making a ton of tuna potatoes, which is very profitable! Or at least was when I did it. Once I was done with a nice 5 digit number of those, I was ready to do sharks.
I've gone from 86 to 94 Runecraft in the last 8 days by afking Guardians. Afk even when the game starts, wait for runelite to ping me when a portal spawns, take the portal, fill pouch(es), craft any red or green tier runes, hand in the tokens and place the cell, back to Afk for 6 minutes til the game end. Get around 30k an hour, spend 37 seconds per round, so roughly 5 minutes per hour actually in the game. *Edit: It was 11 days, not 8. I was on my phone estimating when I posted, Runelite screenshots show it was 11 days.*
@@juliusoscarrio254 I don't fully Afk every game. Often I'll tab back in everytime I hear the portal spawn and do another trip if I'm not doing much in the other game. My point being it's more Afk than Zeah but also less exp. However I do play around 12 hours a day atm as I'm out of work for a bit.
Mining stars is nice, but it's very inconsistent. Amethysts are still king imo, but if you can find a solo star out in the Elf lands or in Morytania you're golden.
For herb would cleaning grimy herbs not be more afk? You can click a single herb and it will slowly clean the full inventory, it's also profitable majority of the time
@@alexandreduhaime8622 yes that's very true mate but I only suggested this as it's for most afk 99s. Surely with it being that slow to clean herbs it would be up there as one of the best afking 99s
The Summer Garden 1 click method is fairly AFK for thieving once set up, even more so if you aren't using stamina potions since you'll have to wait for your run energy to recover.
The way I see it.. we barely have time to game (most of us being adults with other commitments) so when we do have time to play, why would you want to be AFK anyway?
hey theo can u make a video of all the items that gives extra inventory, pouches, coffin, books, loot bag, etc. im getting back into it and im still confused on what all new items there are for QoL improvements for efficiency
You guys ever played classic , found a active server been playing non stop search and join the adventure with us and keep the classic version alive Rsc dragonfire
Love this video man really appreciate you sharing these afk methods some I didn't know about gunna get to work on getting them gains! 😊 Love the rhyme at the end too 😂
You used the word AFK too many times... it got annoying. Could've not said it, change words (passive, etc), like : for magic, splashing for 10 minutes etc... we know its related to AFK. Thanks for the informative vid !❤
Great video but, I'll be honest I hate how OSRS has skewed my definition of AFK. 1 minute of "afk" is not afk... Hell even 5 minutes is not AFK. But on OSRS I will call something I can click and look away for 30 seconds "AFK". Imo the only truly afk stuff in this game is combat training and solo star mining.
most of the time, if i dont need keyboard, i call it afk. since i like to do something else on different screen and just press something with my mouse to proceed leveling up
"Afking cannonballs is far too inefficient to 99" sir I have an untrimmed smithing cape because of doing cannonballs to 99, I resemble that remark, I only supplied 2mill+ cannonballs to the market lol
Idk what the "20min afk in combat" thing is about. If I don't click to move at least 1 tile in NMZ every 5min, I get logged out regardless of combat state.
With blisterwoods you can also treat it like thieving. Where you are dropping the logs, flicking inventory, cutting logs, and dropping them again. Similar to the coin pouch ardy knight method. I did this entirely to 99, set up my foot pedal I got for $10 on eBay and went to town while playing on my PlayStation or watching tv. 10/10 recommend
