The Mary Shelley Club by Goldy Moldavsky since you like Clown in a Cornfield. And I’m currently rereading All of Us Villains so I can finally read All of Our Demise. I remember loving it when I originally read book 1. And it isn’t so much the slasher vibe you’re asking for but given I love Clown in a Cornfield and want everything slasher, you may also like it too if you haven’t read it yet.

there's a middle grade horror book coming out on 2nd may called it watches in the dark and cover is pretty scary also there is scarewaves by trevor henderson another middle grade horror

Hiya. Django Wexler have written a middle grade series The Forbidden Library. They are dark fanasty. It is very good. Also middle grade fanasty Chris Columbus book called The House of Secrets. Have you read either of these?? 😊
