Mega's conversations are great, been great since the 90's / early 2000's. However, his ear for beats and his choice of production is not pleasing to the ear ,which makes the jewels he drops in his music un enjoyable . Low,very low replay value. And I like Mega, so whoever reads this don't think I'm being a hater. I want him to win MUSICALLY. What's a win musically.? A high metric score from reviews, making multiple years end list of best rap album, and / or high sales . I say all of that to say this : keep that preachy shit out the records,or spit it over some very ill production. Hire a young A&R to give you a fresh sound bed to spit on.

Mega was the first rapper I ever heard shouting out that he was independent back when it was looked down upon. He was making more money on the low than a lot of artists signed to major label slave deals. Also was able to retain his masters.

Mega always had this introspective element to him.
