Wonderful water journey with Indigo Cruise houseboat. In August month, superb pleasurable weather & place in houseboat, we enjoyed with the food. Each and every moment was gorgeous, cool wind and delicious food, we stayed one day & night, at night houseboat stopped in one place,we were dancing on the deck & down water on the sky stars & moon , how beautiful it was... really I can't leave the place. i like to travel once more.

Picked up a private boat tour of the Alleppey backwaters. The guide spoke good English & was terribly knowledgeable. I took a 7-hour tour that was long enough to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this lovely place with Indigo cruise luxury houseboats. much local life to require in birds including many sightings of my favorite bird, the kingfisher. Living in these backwaters is actually remote & as if time has stood still. a good thanks for spending a few hours.

Well, mostly the backwaters are popular to hire a houseboat and stay for a day or two where they cruise by day and dock for the night. They'll also fish for you you cook. I being a solo traveler, and a vegetarian chose jot to spend all day in the water and hired a houseboat for a few hours. I did have my full. Backwaters are beautiful and see the sunset in them is magnificent. Visit paddy fields and small villages and even buy stuff while on the boat. You know its a must-do in Alleppey already. The food served was the nicest we tasted during our trip to India, freshly prepared by the onboard chef. We stopped off at a fish market stool to shop for our fresh fish for dinner. The team provided a superb service throughout the trip, going above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Terrific experience with Indigo Cruise. The houseboats are comfy and fairly neat. Food is cooked fresh. For those who love seafood, it’s a unique experience as you'll be able to buy fresh seafood on the way, in one in all the villages and the staff on board cook a terrific meal! the total sailing time is concerning 5 hours and that they are terribly punctual. Before our trip, the owner was very quick to reply to any questions we had and even arranged a taxi for our onward journey.

We were picked up from our cruise ship Spectrum of Seas promptly by our very friendly guide and driver. Our guide spoke excellent English and was very accommodating and wanted to make sure that he covered any particular interests we may have during our whole day tour. Our first part of the tour was the Houseboat cruise with the Indigo Cruise Luxury team. it had been fabulous, very relaxing and therefore the whole boat was only for our little group of 6. The boat was very comfortable with daybed. Lunch was served within the dining room and therefore the food was delicious and everyone staff on board very attentive. The latter a part of the day entailed the Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Souvenir shopping and seeing locals spin rope from coconut husks which were very interesting. all in all a really interesting day and far better than a ship excursion. Highly recommended.

The boat was a very nice house boat, just like the one shown in the photo at the time of booking But what saddened us was the lunch on the boat which was substandard lunch and the meal had no taste. It was a very bad meal What bothered us the most was the house boat driver who was very uncooperative and he treated us with anger.

Great rooms, you have a bedroom, bathroom, and a dining room, plus a lovely outdoor terrace. We were very impressed. Also all very clean - and tv too! Everyone was more helpful and nice to us. They even washed our beach towels for us at no charge. All meals were included and this was good too. Indigo Cruise premium houseboats are more recommended

A wonderful Luxurycruise in the backwaters.. We stayed in the one bedroom houseboat - Indigo Cruise Luxury houseboat. There was a living room, and a bedroom with an attached bathroom. The entire boat was very neat and clean. The meals cooked was amazing, and we can customize the meals according to our wish. The staff was courteous, and service was impeccable. All in all, it was a wonderful experience in the backwaters of Kerala. We really loved it!

He will give all the details and instructions before booking which he can provide, never compel us for anything. The boat is well maintained and the rooms are neat and clean.
