The Economics Dept of the college is truly excellent.... keeping up standards with some of the premiere institutions of the country. The teachers are really good as well as supportive. As a former student, I could say Marian offers you great academic opportunities along with a lot of extra curricular activities where you will be able to explore and showcase all your talent. The placement Marian students achieve at the end of their course is another reason to choose Marian. Almost everyone who wished to get placement were placed in their dream companies by the end of our classes with the help of Marian Placement cell and their coachings.
As a former student, I believe that Marian College Kuttikkanam is a great college for academics and extracurricular activities. The quality of education and infrastructure are major attractions. In case of ug courses not in PG. They want to restrict students in some ways and interfere in personal matters. They are too good at torturing students.

What they had said may be 100% truth but my friend had insist me not to go to Marian College especially in MBA department due to following reasons: 👉🏻 Busy schedule ie; 8am to 8pm 👉🏻 Heavy work load & assignment 👉🏻 100% placements are provided but majority of them are offering 10k per month 😅 👉🏻 Strict rules and regulations especially in hostel 😇
More over he had insisted me to go to their undergraduate program which is more stress free than MBA department Also he had said that the college itself pushing every students who need placement to fall into local business/job/recruitment which is treating candidate's like a slave and offering very low salary and poor work environment, etc. So that students could get placed in those companies easily and as a result , they will only receive a basic salary worth 10k per month . While doing so , college itself achieves its goal in giving them 💯% placement like they mentioned earlier 🥴
