This drive completely blew us away. What’s the most beautiful drive you’ve ever done?? BTW You can book THIS VAN for yourself! Be sure to mention "The Endless Adventure" for $100 off your trip www.yamanomad.com/ 🙌
It was really beautiful! I would have to say the prettiest drive I've done is through Big Thompson Canyon from Loveland to Estes Park in Colorado. The river is beside you the whole way and the Rocky mountains are gorgeous. 🗻
The most beautiful drive I've ever done is The Icefields Parkway too. Soon we are going back, driving to Calgary from Winnipeg and then onto Banff, Lake Louise and then down to Waterton NP and Glacier NP.. :)
Fantastic views! It brings back memories from a few years ago. I need a refresher 😎! Hopefully you have also a Lake Louise episode. Until then, I’ll make you an invitation in a very far away land 😜 : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k261mduIinY.html.
Banff is very beautiful and I am excited to see you guys visit such an amazing place! My favorite drive is to take the going-to-the-sun-road in glacier national park. This drive takes you through a gorgeous mountain pass in northwestern Montana where you overtake the continental divide. The park only 3 hours south of Calgary! I hope someday you two will take the time to visit this amazing and witness these breathtaking views for yourselves. Safe travels through Canada!
Hi Eric & Allison, thank you very much for coming and visiting us in Canada, we are glad to have you !!! It is absolutely stunning out in Alberta !! I want you to promise me you will at some point in your travels that you will visit Newfoundland, Canada. I went there for the first time last March and the views and scenery are absolutely breathtaking and the people of Newfoundland are the most friendliest and kind people you will find anywhere!! I absolutely loved it, I rented a car for a week and drove the coastlines and the views are incredible!! Food Amazing!!! If you love seafood this is absolutely the best place to be!!! Try the cod tongues!! :) Thanks for producing great videos, I enjoy your channel very much!! Take Care !!! Steve
Was I in the middle of something? Yes. Yes I was. Did I stop what I was doing in order to watch this video? Yes. Yes I did. Do I pick this video over what I was doing? Yes. Yes I do. ❤️❤️❤️
Jasper to Banff is beautiful! I’ve done that drive including the glacier tour!!! Love your video and the drive! Brought back lots of memories!! Canada is so beautiful!!!😍♥️
How fun to see that you made my province your first Canadian trip. Jasper and Banff are stunningly gorgeous. Hope you made it to Lake Louise too, not far from Banff. It is amazing. Waterton National Park in southern Alberta is also gorgeous. And hopefully you can make it to Dinosaur Park in Drumheller which is the dinosaur capital of the world and houses the famous Royal Tyrell Dinosaur Museum. The bandlands terrain is totally different than the mountains but also beautiful. You can even go on a dinosaur dig. Allison cracked me right up: "I'm really smart when the sign tells me to be". LOL.
I live in Western Massachusetts. In the fall driving the back roads to Vermont is the most beautiful drive I have ever taken. All the different colors and mountains.
The most amazing drive I ever did was as a kid our family drove from Germany to Venice and driving through the mountains was absolutely breath taking. I want to do it again now I’m older to appreciate it more.
Did this trip in July 1986 (the other way, Banff to Jasper) sadly not in a camper van. We didn't arrive in Jasper until early evening as we kept stopping to admire the views/take photos and video etc. It is, without doubt, one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. The power of the waterfalls, the colour of the lakes and the sheer vastness of the landscape made an unforgettable experience.
Wow the sceneries and the drive throughout this camper van series are sublime I say. You just can’t beat snow cap mountain peaks, deers and bears and the endless pine trees. Breath taking. Thank you for the video.
We watched you before our mature gap year for inspiration and would you believe it we are eating soup in jasper atm. I love the national parks, unbelievable .
Wow that's absolutely beautiful..I'm headed to Aspen Colorado in 2 weeks for the first time and can't wait to see mountains again. Going to get some epic video..
We had the good fortune to drive the same drive last summer. Amazing. I’d certainly recommend extending the trip to at least a few days so you get chance to hike and experience even more. We walked up to the glacier. Had a great hike high up to look down over glaciers and across the mountains. A tip - stay at sunwapta falls - it means you have the place to yourself in the morning as you are an hour ahead of other visitors coming down from jasper. Also make sure to see Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Amazing part of the world. A real privilege to get to see such an amazing country.
You have only scratched the surface of our beautiful country! 🇨🇦 Glad you are enjoying your time in Canada and hope you come back soon! 😎 Love your videos!! 👍💖
We went along the Icefields Parkway this time last year. We took a bus as we were too scared to drive in the snow, but it was such a beautiful drive! The Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland is spectacular! Definitely worth checking out.
Couple of years ago I drove from Banff to Lake Louise on the old road (road 1A) and that was really incredible. No rushing on the highway, almost no other cars, taking my time and even more beautiful scenery. And I was so lucky to see a Lynx crossing the road and waiting just about 10 meters from the road until I had taken enough photos of him. So my advice is to avoid the highways if possible and take the secondary road!
Love you guys. So nice to see local peeps living such a fun and adventurous life. I'm in Farmington and had been watching and loving you for a while before I realized just how local you all are! Thanks for letting all of us experience these places through you!
Scotland has gotta be one of the best places to road trip! Australia east coast was the best campervan road trip we've ever ever done though!!! Love your videos! ❤️
We are heading to Canada next year and we would never have thought to just stop by the road to see things so thank you for sharing this. Everything just looks beautiful xx
The views are amazing and love the van! Definitely on the bucket list. So far Iceland's ring road takes the cake for me for the constant non-stop views for days. . Also, a highway 395 road trip in California is a memorable one so many cool side trips to do along the way, Mt Whitney, Alabama Hills, Ancient Bristlecone Pine forest, Tioga pass road into Yosemite, Mono Lake, and Bodie ghost town is such a cool experience.
Been to California many times. Yosemite area is beautiful but for a state that has the whole population of Canada plus tourists crammed in there, nah I'll take BC and Alberta.
Great episode showcasing some of Canada's endless beauty - well done. If you get a chance the Vancouver, Pemberton, Lillooet, Hope, Vancouver loop has amazing scenery and tons of enjoyable activities of all sorts.
Love the care that you guys put into getting evocative Nature B-Roll of the Great North. What a beautiful and vast country. Also, your motion graphics intro is awesome! Great work, keep it up.
My 2nd favorite drive (behind this one) is the loop south of Canmore which is just east of Banff. I prefer the town of Canmore over Banff. Has more of a local feel and I felt like it had more to offer. Easier to park, lots of bike trails, not as crowded, and a great farmers/art market.
Another amazing video. Your "very unique" style and theme are definitely locked. The more you guys travel the more natural it has become. The research shows. Please keep it up.
I went to Canada 40 years, Banff I never forgot the place it made quite an impression on me, so breath taking. Switzerland is similar but a lot smaller but just as beautiful in its own way.
To answer your question Eric, I would say another amazing drive that we've experienced thus far on our full time travels is CUSCO PERU. It's really pretty and absolutely incredible scenery. Great video again you two. Could you watch our latest video, maybe while having one of those tasty beers,😂 as we'd love to hear your thoughts as well. Thanks Eric! Thanks Alison.
Please do the Cabot trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Supposedly it is an amazing drive that rivals the one that you are undertaking. If you do please make a video of even the places that you overnight. I want to try that adventure at some stage.
Fantastic video guys!! Those bright evenings are amazing, we don't do too bad for them here in the UK (midlands here) which is further north than you might think, indeed I think it is further north than where you are!! (52.9" v 51.9") No glaciers here though!!
Ireland's west coast is a very pretty drive well. Everything makes you want to stop and just enjoy the view. You will never want to put the camera down.
How can anyone not love this? I hope you are loving this adventure. In BC on Hwy 5 there a amazing falls called Helmiken Falls west of a community called Clearwater. The drop is three time further then Niagara Falls. Not the volume though. Enjoy my beautiful home Country ❤🇨🇦
Wonderful drive and incredible scenery. Can't believe the waterfalls! You asked about the beautiful drives you can take. We live in Vermont. No billboards allowed and some of the most beautiful towns in the U.S. Some of the best hikes and bike paths. Waterfalls and the Green Mountains. Of course, there is the Fall Foliage, some of the best in the U.S., and much, much more.
A friend and I decided to do a Canadian roadtrip in 2012 and it was amazing. We went down the Icefields Parkway in August and it was sunny in both Jasper and Banff but overcast most of the drive and even started snowing in places. It made the water a beautiful blue colour though. I remember seeing some of the falls and saying that if you fell in there it would be like falling into a massive washing machine and that there would be no way you'd survive (we didn't quite do the same arm movements as Allison though)
The scenic drives in Nova Scotia are awesome! From the Lighthouse Route along the south shore of the province, to Halifax, the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, and all the historical sites in between!
@@Nonduality Apparently only Canadians know about the Cabot trail, which still tops my travels as one of the most amazing landscapes. People outside of Canada usually go out west, which is obviously amazing too, but the Cabot trail is unbelievable.
When I was a kid we drove by the Columbia Icefields but didn’t go out there because it was too expensive. As an adult, we planned to go on that buggy, and I’m so glad we did! It was amazing, and yes, we drank glacier water!
Our Canadian tour was one of our best and worst holidays every... The truck broke down, the caravan got a flat (and the tire changing tool was missing), we got locked out of our truck late evening in a provincal park in September (cold) and had to hitch a life 50km to nearest town with no money, ID,.. nothing.. Some sweet locals put us up for the night and called a breakdown firm to drive us back and open our truck.. It seems a chipmunk had got in... Poo and everything nibbled on. Then at the A-glacier out pipes froze.. One disaster after another... But the good bits were fantastic. We did the truck trip onto the glacier... It was amazing!
Ahhh we did the glacier tour and it was AMAZING! We just got back from Alberta and even though we were there ten days, we barely scratched the surface. Love this road trip and I’m thinking of hiring an RV and doing it all over again!
I absolutely love this! It’s ice, snow, glacier and perfection filled! This trip is so chill, and the environment around you depicts that in the most epic way! I’m definitely a combo of you both, I’d have snuck into the water too! & hopefully one day you’ll get to do that trip across the glacier you mentioned! I live not far from the countryside, so those are the most scenic drives I’ve been on, with all the little lambs lazy about, and the fields of green, and crops as far as you can see. They’re my favourite areas :)
You support Eric and Allison on Patreon, so that makes you their patron, and those of us who cannot afford to be their patrons thank you SO MUCH! They've been able to show us so much more than they could back in the day when they had to work online jobs pretty much full-time and make travel videos part-time! So, thank you, Glen! You and the other patrons have helped to make The Endless Adventure better for all of us, Eric and Allison included. :-)
Heading to Banff and Jasper for our Honeymoon mid September and going to Campervan it too. this was perfect. thank you, as far as other road trips we've done I think the best so far has been Iceland in February 2017. Truly a magical place.
Glasgow to Fort William via Loch Lomond and Glen Coe is the most beautiful drive I've done I think. I've driven it maybe 5 times and it's amazing every time.
The most beautiful drive we've been on has to be the southeastern part of Iceland . Those fjords and colorful villages were just so pretty and the sun was finally shining so that definitely helped!
The most beautiful sights I've ever seen going through the ice fields is after a morning of light showers and heavy clouds, when the warmth of the afternoon started to come in there were rainbows EVERYWHERE. I couldn't believe it, you'd be coming down from some higher elevation, and because of all the heavy clouds the rainbows would have this stark white back drop and would come out so crisp while also arching between mountain ranges, cradled in the valleys between them. I should have looked up the weather condintions that allowed that to happen. It's definitely an experience I'd love to have again - only with a camera on hand the next time!
I was considering Canada for next June, now I’m definitely going. Looks so beautiful! I recommend the Scottish Highlands for somewhere stunning, the Norwegian Fjords also blew me away.
I did the Columbia Ice fields tour about 20yrs ago. It was amazing. My daughter was 4 and could stand inside the rim of the trucks you take. I was told that the ice fields are shrinking and eventually we wont have them which is really sad.
Did the drive a few years ago and it is probably one of the most amazing drives in the world. The glacier walk was hugely expensive so we hiked to the glacier which is free. You can walk all the way up to the base where the ice melt forms a small river. Quite amazing. Got an amazing photo of Bow Lake if you'd like one? Jasper is one of the nicest unspoilt towns as well. Thank you, your trip brings back a lot of great memories. When you get a chance, try the drive from Bryce Canyon up to Capitol Reef National Park on I12, that will equal it.
We did this trip 10 years ago, it was amazing! And it was great to see all of it again on your video! But my favourite drive is still through the fjords in Norway - I highly recommend doing that!
I think driving through the California redwoods on California Highway 1 and US 101 (they converge in places,) would have to be the most beautiful drive I've ever taken. The redwoods are just the most amazing trees on the planet and they are *not* to be missed. My Dad loved that drive so much that it's what we did every summer vacation of my childhood.
We have done that drive in both directions and have done many epic drives all over North America and Hawaii. You are right though, this is one of the world’s best if not best drives.
