One of my favorite moments of travelling was in the Murren area. We took a funicular above Murren and walked along a trail. Eventually we stopped at a bench with a spectacular view of the 3 mountains across the way, and Murren was below to our left. I didn't realize that it was Sunday at noon, until the church bells from Murren below filled the entire valley with its songs. And the bells didn't seem to come specifically from Murren, instead it was as if the mountains themselves were ringing the bells. I will never forget that. The hills and mountains were indeed alive with the sound of music.
