Palazzo Piti is huge and impressive but the architecture is a bit boring, Chambord is def my favorite. It’s totally the archetype of a fairytale chateau
@@fox570808 no it’s a ducal residence but the Medicis were very very rich, it was just the style of their time. I think Chambord was just one of all the residencies of the royal French families
@@Simon-.- I totally agree. Pitti Gallery is magnificent but the palace itself is not. I find more interesting Palazzo Medici-Ricardi. BTW I do not think most of the palaces on the list are really beautiful, they're just huge and rich (Chateaux de Versailles, Reggia di Caserta, Buckingham Palace) but the architecture is heavy and boring. Chambord - you're absolutely right.
