Hey Habo, thank you for refering me & Craine. Definitely a fun time to be a Barb! I was recording a new HOTA PVP version with the EXACT same essences as you did Ahah I think it's you made the right call with the Spartusk. Its very important to play around the idol or even in the front. Too many Barbs with Spartusk and if you don't have it, you probably gonna lose the duel. Also major issue with the Heartless is that versus Spartusk Barb, you lose your CC immunity which makes the helm useless. Let's keep trying to find new versions and test to define a new & more fun meta for Barb!
Sparktusk is awesome. Only thing is you need to pay attention to the other team. If they have two mages or more you need to run heartless. Unless you want to play on the back line but then as a tank you’re useless.
@@nickgonzalez3325 That's not entirely true, after many BG matches and testing both, I just realize that if I got better at dodging the Wiz CC, I wouldn't be a problem. And so far, it wasn't been. Even as a Barb vs a Wiz in the idol, he can't stop you from holding or even pushing for a few seconds. I'm not a backliner barb since I'm only 900 reso, and I think the best role for Barb to have the most impact in BG is around the idol/pushing. If you are a high reso Barb like +5k than yeah, probably you can have your fun in their backline. I let Tempest kill their backline, they are better at it - they can go and escape, barb is like a kamizake mission Ahah I'm currently playing at +4250 rating (even as F2P 900 res), playing fine with two builds - Spartusk Meta and sometimes I play with a HOTA build, same and sometimes different than this :D I hope it clarified my point of view.
@@IndezYT I understand, but if your playing on idol like your supposed to as barb and they have mages then your not dogging. You will be cced and you will do on the idol before you can do anything no matter what reso you got. But if you are able to look at a match before it starts and decide to run heartless due to mages then Atleast you can still put out dmg on the idol and maybe get out before you UR expires and live. Most people don’t know what to do while their UR comes back up and get frustrated and just go in and die again. That is when you need to peel for your range or just simply wait it out. Trust me it’s a lot better to wait for UR to come back then to keep dying especially on offense.
Di gm dont know how to design the game lol. Being able to brust dmg as tank is fine but spamming one skill with brust dmg is not. Its the same as monk got bug 4 stack bell of light and hope it will be fix soon.
What a joke dev team ! They give tanker like cru barb with some immunime and one shot, others side most of 2 star gem have more effect and better some expensive 5 star game, player( and mid- low spender) feels like a joke right now haha😂
Very HOTA focused build! Effective, verified. Thanks for posting! One question - I’ve been holding reservations about Spartusk since the recent nerf. Recent test shows it does not remove any kind of chest death. Hence it feels to me (10k res legend level) much less effective than fearless immunity. I eat almost anything for breakfast with fearless but no so much with Spartusk. Would you she some lights on exactly what beneficial effect it no longer removes?
I dont use that paragon. I use different one. But yes this build is too good only problem is bleed. If someone put bleed effect on you you just bleed and what to do?
*Please stop using the word "broken" just because something works... it is damaging to the quality of the game when developers nerf things just because of a microscopic fraction of the community " content creators"opinions... so toxic to use the word broken*
@Lio2Zer0 views over quality of game. Every time a creator says broken, developers immediately nerf without asking the rest of the community if the agree. Which most don't.
@Habonis well these kinds of videos cause backlash and negativity from everyone who isn't barbarian and then blizzard takes notice and nerfs whatever it is every time... it all starts with a content creator calling something broken then controversy starts until it is nerfed... hurts the quality of diversity inside the game.
Devs don't pay nearly that much attention to what people say or what is in the title of a video at all. Just not happening. Otherwise, plenty of other much more noteworthy things would have been noticed long ago.
Soo barrier + warden is your anwer :) i see. Good choice i think. Crit via banq, Lament and Roiling. I think that works for higher resonance as ur potency is better and therefor the 6pc banquet is doing a huge job already. For lower resonance i would still prefer a higher boost in crit as u are dead meat anyway to enemies ranged and dependend on ur undying only. Thanks Habo :)
