I dont know if this spell is supposed to do damage like this. Like, it almost has to be a bug. It's completely busted almost one shotting every single boss with a 3 focus point heavy combo. ABSURD. @@Charles-d5g8g once you beat him you have to pick up his weapon that falls on the ground. Just like the first transformation you get !

@@brandonmcclelland4359 with this build not at all. If you have the full bull king set with the dark iron staff then that will give you the most attack damage. Eventually wukongs secret armor set gives you more defense than the bull king in NG+2 tho

@@lNVenus I’ve got the set too but it doesn’t have any passive rewards… but it does give most defense… I’m torn haha

Pilgrim is better if you max it out and run the spine shooting fuban staff. I've almost one shot bosses without pluck of many or without using gore eye. My crit chance is 36%, crit damage is 209% and for every second you run around the pilgrim set increases your attack. I've done up to 12k

@@daleleggette for this transformation specifically you want to have the most base attack damage, as soon as you stop sprinting that armor set buff goes away instantly. But if you’re not using this transformation then 100% the pilgrim set by itself is disgustingly OP

U have to "see through" the enemy attacks, meaning right when you're about to get hit, press triangle to do your heavy attack and absorb the enemy's attack, that's how u get the focus points

@@matthewkiggin5456 I’ve done it to multiple bosses already. Try it out for yourself in NG+. Get 3 focus points and then use triple heavy attack

Yeah waiting for the boss to attack then quick light to heavy is the easiest way...I usually look for patterns in the boss before I use it. Makes it easier. I'm on new game+ and my build has 70+% crit chance and 198% crit damage I'll try this. He is my favorite transformation.

@@nguyendq1 yea unfortunately it is. I’ve been trying to just wait for the boss to attack and as soon as he moves light attack and then heavy attack. Some bosses are a little tricky tho if they have weird timings

@@redshotred6755 yes, to my knowledge there are 3 varied combos you can do: one light + heavy, two light + heavy, 3 light + heavy

I recommend waiting for the boss to queue an attack and then instantly heavy attack after. Of course it’s all about timing but this has been the easiest way for me since I don’t know every bosses moveset by heart

Wu kong's secret armor from chapter 6 gives you more defense the defense goes up to 874 with 3 Agate Jar, 2 golden spikeplate curios and the spirit top to bottom minus the tenacity from the bull king set

@@tswj that is true but that’s only until you get to NG+2 and have all 18 relics. In NG + the highest defense is from the bull kings set. But I definitely gotta try that with the dark iron staff. I bet you get to almost 700 attack damage.

@@lNVenusBull King does not have the highest defense bud. Wukong has an alternate version of his final armor set. You can get it in chapter 6 in a chest. I got it around NG+4 and I'm sure that's what he's talking about.
