Both of The Raid movies were non stop fighting.. Awesome stuff. And yes the kitchen scene was probably the best. Although them fighting Mad Dog in the other was off the charts too.
I'm astounded by the lack of blood considering how many vital arteries have been slashed; the axillary, femoral and jugular. It would be a full on bloodbath akin to Kill Bill.
Okay, you have to give the bad guys credit on one count...if you saw this guy absolutely slaughter the first ten guys and you still decided to attack him...well you're either incredibly stupid, incredibly brave or have an incredibly inflated sense of your abilities.
There is a Korean film called "The Man from Nowhere." This fight and apparently the plot are simply plagiarized from that film. Or maybe the Korean film was also taken from some movie. It is not known which film is original.
@@Assakur999 There are a lot of good movies with intense, savage and well staged fight scenes...Extraction and Extraction II come to mind, but I am sure there are many more.
Yeah Tarantino movies are always violent, with that said some of the most violent movies are from South Korea, an example would be I saw the devil which is one of the most unique revenge thrillers ever made.
Yeh this isnt even close. The camera cuts are horrible making it hard to see where things are coming from and for some reason the impact of especially the knife attacks seem non existent. Choreography is good tho, and its still alot better than most things we get from hollywood.
Usually, people make fun of Indian films, but this time they did something great. The scenes with the knife were very creative, executed and filmed. It was something very dynamic, brutal and realistic. The main actor is very good.
@@lycanlycans7548 so... an indian remake. They remade it...... in India with Indian actors. An Indian remake. It's not the original. It's not a sequel or prequel. It's the same movie, remade in India.
Dude, watch the REAL scene from the Man from Nowhere. It's the real deal.. This is an unrealistic and cheap ripoff.. One would think for the amount of money our film industry has, they'd atleast recruit a kali or trained expert to make the knife fight realistic..
@@dhavewala Is Rocky handsome copied? The film, Rocky Handsome was an official remake of Lee Jeong-Beom's film 'The Man From Nowhere'. Along with John's amazing fitness and physique, his action scenes have garnered much praise from the audiences.May 22, 2020 So google is saying it is a actual remake. I still think its a crappy remake.
Fully agree with the others, the original is very good, this thing, really, soooo unrealistic, looks like the indian movies, next they all start singing....
@@wasnatroef9926 well the original is good but overrated at the same time. It's not like you can say the original is as good as john wick, the raid, the equalizer, redeemer, headshot, blood and bone, the protector, falcon rising, just to name a few. So I'll agree the man from nowhere is good but it's also overrated cause people act like the fight scenes are on the level of the other movies I named. I agree the original is good but not the best ever either.
It's a very pretty dance. But don't you feel it? When I watch it, I don't feel like I'm watching a fight, more like an intricate dance with all the moves preset. It doesn't sell me.
5:35 yeah he just killed everyone i know in a 1v30 odds fight..better not shoot this guy in the head but challenge him to a 1v1..great job buddy u deserve the oscar
When alot of people fear you it gives you a big ego and makes you feel invisible. But he wasnt the king pin so he was obviously stupid. But I dont see how the script should effect the awards he wins for being an actor. I thought he did pretty good as the idiot.
During the entire knife fight I kept hearing the villain from "Gangs of New York" say: _that's a wound!_ But they both kept saying no to blood loss and nerve damage.
In the original the professional hit man is bored and sees a chance to fight some one who might be fun. He is very very good and very confident he can win. I strongly recommend watching the original called "The Man From Nowhere"... I included a clip elsewhere in the comments.
The movie is based on 2010's Korean film The Man from Nowhere. Has the same storyline... Kabir runs a pawn shop in Goa he befriends his little neighbor Naomi who lives with her drug addict mother Anna.Acp Salgaonkar is after a drug landlord Mantoo who runs the racket with Fereira brothers Kevin and Luke and also deal with organ trafficking.
Charlize Theron in Atomic Blond has my favorite fight scene ever. Weapons, hand to hand, lamps, hot plates, etc in a continuous , beautifully executed scene. Check it out.
Most brutal fight scene ; that looks realistic, is by far “Once were ‘WARRIORS’ …” where , Jake explodes in a rage and beats Bully nearly to death, castrating him with a broken bottle. I still get chills watching it!!! B R U T A L ….
I agree and you're the first person I've ever heard mention that fight scene. It is the best fight scene in film history for one reason, the incredible realistic utter ferocity of Jake the Muss. Doesn't feel like you're watching a fight in a movie, it feels so damn real. You're on the edge of your seat when Jake starts to fight the young jacked guy
Oh don't tell me. If this movie was a spin-off of the Raid. By the way, this movie is from India. And The Raid is from Indonesia. But the director film was from Wales, UK. Not Indonesian director film.
This was very well done. It’s definitely inspired by the movie “The Man From Nowhere” without being a mere copy. This sequence is unique with its own style.
It wasn't just "inspired", it was a frame-by-frame remake. Most negative critics are pointing out how it's copied from the Korean movie (main male characters are pawnshop owners, the main female characters are gogo/strip dancers, the eyes and final fight scenes being the most obvious).
I hope you're being sarcastic!? No trained expert holds the knife in a icepick grip which is what the winner of the fight did. In a real life scenario he'd be dead just for extending his hand There's no slashing range the way he's holding the knife
He is a former indian special force commando in the movie... You know para sf regiment... On of the most dangerous special force in the world... So he know how fight with a knife..!
its easy you just use the exact same moves from the original movie you ripped it from no need from a fight coordinator this is Indian style - rip off movies and passing it off as their own creation.
This is a remake of a much similar scene in "The Man From Nowhere" (2010) which was made in Korea. The ending to this film's knife fight is brilliant, however the acting by the hero could go deeper.
RAID had some crazy scenes. That Ninja Assassin movie too. Even some scenes in the Equalizer movie series. This is up there with them. It’s missing something to set it apart. Maybe the cinematography or frame speed.
