MOST chaotic and fun encores with Mamamoo REACTION 

Wow! It's been a while since Mamamoo's been on the channel! There are weekly music ranking shows (Music Bank, The Show, and more). Every week an artist or group wins (ranking consist of streaming, sales, votes, I think?). A group can sweep the wins for all shows and/or for multiple weeks. They'll usually get an encore stage to perform with their fans (and it's live). It's usually simple, but some groups will promise to do something on their encore stage if they win 🙃

To answer your question these are Muisc Shows that air every week and different groups when they have comeback perform and promote their album and also every week there are 2 nominees and the group/idol who has the highest score is the Winner for that week in that specific music show.

What I've observed with all kpop groups/soloist is; they have a comeback and a promotion period (most times). So say they choose to promote their new song for 2 weeks, they will try to go on every music/radio (and sometimes variety) show to perform/promote their new song. There are many korean music shows: Music bank, MCountdown, Inkigayo, The Show, Show Music Core etc. Each one airs weekly, on different days of the week. So it's possible for one group to take out multiple awards from the same show (on different days). Each show has different point systems eg RU-vid MV views 20% + votes 15% + digital charts 40% etc A kpop group/soloist can also win without promoting, if they fit the points criteria. It's pretty awesome if this happens because they're not actively promoting but people are still watching/voting for it over other songs. These shows as well as the big yearly award shows are the reason a lot of fandoms continuously stream music on different platforms/vote, especially during promotion period and ask other fans to do the same.
