Before watching banana VOD review I would constantly pick duelist or an aggressive agent to "carry" since I felt my teammates were holding me back and had to go look for duels, even though I didn't enjoy the playstyle. I realized that I should instead stick to the role I like which is viper/omen and just started instalocking only those 2 and embracing it. I changed it up by trusting my teammates more and playing without the intent of looking for fights that aren't needed to be fought at that instant, and cooperate to gain space or make plays. Learned lineups to aid with map control/site execs and low and behold I went from Gold 3 straight to Diamond 1. Can't wait to accommodate to this elo and hopefully get my VOD reviewed when I met the requirements. Thank you for all the useful mechanical guides that in every other part of the internet weren't readily available and elevated my gameplay.
@Youjvwhw Ive been playing lots of competitive games for years. Ive been top 500 in overwatch and masters in apex a few times. I just don't have a ton of tac fps experience outside of 200 hours of csgo.
woohoojin is the goat, by just doing your aim training, i was able to get out of silver for the first time in months and now im gold 2, on the road to plat and i hope that your strats carry me through my journey

Hey woohoojin, I started valorant a month ago, have been placed bronze 1 this act. But now I'm loosing every game and deranked to iron 3 because of my shitty aim. The players open scope crouching moving shooting I don’t know what that is but they get kill and top frag while I try to aim for head and don't spray much while strafing but I get the headshot instead of them. My other problem is at mid to long ranges my crosshair is on enemy head but it lands only bodyshots idk how. Please tell me any aim training in game as I have other work to do so I can play 1.30 hours most, one video I saw about a PREMS method on Jett pfp guy seno sera I have practicing that getting results in deathmatch but not in ranked. I have seen other videos on valorant and found comments talking about you helped them to reach gold or higher. I just want to aim diff enemies as there is no strategy followed just the one aim diffing and clutching most wins the match. Please tell me something as it is not fun to play of I die everytime.
woohoojin has a video how to hit gold (even 2 of them!, first one is old and the second one is new). Also he has an aim practice routine video to practice your aim (routine takes just 30 min with rest). I'm sorry for my English, I didn't practice it in a while :( P.S. I'm still hoping that you will able to understand what I said and it's going to be useful
your crosshair either isnt on their head or you are moving so you have movement error. In mid to long range, if your crosshair is on their head you will hit their head.
I went from last act placed at silver 3 peak p1 to diamond 1 in like a week and I still don't know how I'm stuck in d1 now though, highest like 95 rr might need to drop the vods
-it's really easy to headshot silver players -he uses op+shotguns a lot -headshot rate by itself as a number is nearly irrelevant to climbing ranks, unless it's atrociously low
16:57 Why is astra a 1 for 1 rather than like a 0.7 for 1? I understand she's nearly guaranteed to get traded, the part I'm not sure about is why she's almost guaranteed to get the kill. It's a favorable fight because of the offangle advantage but I still don't like the idea of two-three people swinging out (we don't know if Omen is still in there) and the fact that she has to be worried about someone peaking her from Rubble too
