Following the August 28, 2024 announcement of the immediate termination of the public policy allowing visitors to apply for work permits from within Canada, many individuals holding visitor visas are seeking to change their status by going to a Port of Entry (POE) in a process known as flagpoling.
In this Punjabi video, I'll be discussing some of the most common questions that a CBSA officer might ask when a visitor attempts to change their status from a visitor to a worker at the border.
