a bit unrelated but just about your channel in general, really appreciate how real you keep it with your picks and videos. I am not sure how to word it or put my tongue on it, but there is this very grounded and realness that you have in your videos that I appreciate a lot, some channels puff hot air about every single fragrance and then its hard to get a real or accurate grasp of things. just wanted to say that, appreciate your videos, keep them up!

Just had a memorable encounter wearing Le Male Elixir at a food court Taco Bell here in Toronto, Canada. The cashier (older Filipina lady) actually started blushing... smiled and said "Sorry sir, I cant even think right now. What are you wearing?" I told her, she put the info in her phone, and grabbed the employees from the back to come smell it haha. That stuff will make you're entire week 😅😊

I never believed the fact that mancera cedrat boise was reformulated they would be shooting themselves in the foot. I still easily get 9 hours out of it with the new magnetic cap.
Weirdly, my most complimented is mahogany teakwood from bath and body works lol. Also Persian garden from kummba made. Layer those two and the women at my work love it more than my niche/designer
Funny, I also work in banking and there's an investment guy who covers multiple branches including mine and everytime he's at our branch he always heavily drenches himself in Versace Eros and I being a fragrance connoisseur can tell its 20-30 sprays. It smells good but it smells like he's going to a party 😂I ended up giving my bottle to my little brother because I got tired of the smell lol
As far as skin chemistry goes, yeah. It's crazy how differently we can smell from one another with the same fragrance. I work with a guy and after a while wondering what he wore, I asked him. When he told me Green Irish Tweed, I was really surprised because I consider that one (and clones thereof) to be my signature scent 😂 and here I didn't recognize it at all
Great Vid Melissa - love your joie de vivre and passion for smelling good - smelling good is a 'super power'. When I was 'young' and out clubbing - Gucci Nobile (discontinued) was the 'Home Run King' - - but I do own & love 5 that you mentioned here - L'homme de nuit is Hall of Fame irrespective of price or category. Cartier Celebration Bois Blue (discoed) is sort of the more recent 'winner' if trying to 'accomplish' things romantically 😇. Really enjoy your channel - thanks !

I'd rather you be honest and repeat Elysium on several videos unless another fragrance takes its spot. I know several reviewers try not to repeat fragrances in their videos but I feel like when they do that then their reviews are getting farther and farther from being honest and more just to create content. I much prefer Melissa Elysium.

If I am spending $400 on a Cologne, I better get a better response then, “hey yeah, you smell good” that’s my problem with Percival. And clearly that’s a reason I would never buy Oceana by Roja parfum.
Nah you're right about La Nuit getting feral reactions lol... I've gotten those types of reactions from it since middle school and I'm 28 now. I still remember this girl who was in my 8th grade chem class and still a friend today, always wanting to smell me after I put on La Nuit hahaha it never let me down even if it isn't a "beast mode" fragrance. It smells amazing.
Got a sample of Salt and Pepper. It was far from good. I don't see the magic behind it. But I wear fragrances for me and not for others so this one will just collect dust. Also, it's expensive
I LOVE VIW.. But I doesn't remind me of sprite Lol the coconut scent completely separates it from sprite for me...For ME it's more closer to a Piña Colada 🤷🏻♂️
Their website is not working for precious liquids or maybe just not on my phone. Kinda sucks because i loved the decant of it i got from scent split and the women who smelled it loved it too. Kind of curious though because the liquid in all the reviewers bottles looks so dark but mine is clear in the decant.

I can find it from other sellers but that $40 off would have been nice. Just bought 4 more fragrances today so I gotta wait to get that full bottle but it's going to be next on my list. Hi, which Eros you got edt or edp when starting out the journey. Edt is sharp and not sutied for work places whereas edp is more of a smooth and less loud scent.
Could you make a short comparison between the old and new formulation of Carlisle? The new formulation doesn't last on my skin, it becomes a skin scent after 2 to 3 hours 😢
I know your frustration and I'm over PDM at this point. I bought sedley and Layton this year after finishing up my 2 year old samples and the new formulations are simply not the same. They still smell great, but the performance isn't there. At $250-$400 nobody should have to reapply throughout the day, I certainly didn't need to with older batches.
@@maxallen8039 It is ridiculous. You have to buy the bottles when they come.out, because you never know when they start to reformulate. Especially for Carlisle, for which everyone says it is so strong, and then my wife gives me a bottle for my birthday, and it is so weak.
Just FYI i really like your takes but i find myself turning your videos off because of the poor audio quality. Maybe it's just me in which case carry on!
