I wonder what’s wrong with my nose, because YSL Libre is overly sharp, spicy, and sort of old-fashioned to my taste. 😬 It burns the nostrils, lol. Maybe it was the sample decant I purchased online. But I’m just not getting the mass appeal of that one.

Or you mean all the Libres in general, I get that it is quite spicy but I guess I quite enjoy that, this is how I felt about dama Bianca which is so popular, when I tried it it was just soooo faint and not lasting at all, but I think I may need to revisit it because I don’t think the decant sample did it justice 🙈
@@VerityScents Hi Verity! (Love your name btw!) Yes, it was the original Libre parfum. Seeing as how my nose hairs turned to ash after my first Libre experience 😂😉, I’ve stayed away from the Libre collection. I think I’m picky with my spice level. For me, the spice has to be very balanced. But I’m not a fan of the sugary florals either. I prefer a really balanced, clean scent. The performance is pretty crap, but one of my all-time favorites is Emporio Armani She. To me, that is a clean, bright, spicy yet still very feminine scent. I’m also a huge fan of Armani Si Impassione, YSL Mon Paris, and Byredo Ban d’Afrique. Maybe I’m just too “vanilla” 😆 in my scent preferences. So, you’ve convinced me! I will give Libre another chance - nose hairs be damned😂!
It’s not your nose 😂- it is incredible how much our DNA changes how we perceive a scent and how it wears on each one of us! For me a great example (not pertaining to Libre) is patchouli - on me, no matter what the perfume, if that note is in it, it just bothers me the whole day. I have even washed it off before 😂!
@@courtneysmith6082 I love all the fragrances you have mentioned also really nice ones, there probably is something in libre that is just too prominent for your taste, your not the only one to feel that way haha let me know if you do end up giving it another shot, just please don’t lose your nose in the process 😂🙈

L’Interdit Rouge is definitely a compliment getter for me too! ❤❤❤ I’m really curious about the new Rouge coming out but I have doubts it could beat this one! That Narciso Rodriguez is also a phenomenal one. Love both so much!
I have the ultime and I don’t use it. It’s not worth the money. The rouge is definitely better. The rouge not perfume good. It’s like a mix from OG and rouge. And I can’t smell a cacao note. I will never buy it again. It’s tooo similiar with the rouge but performe not like the rouge. So if anyone find the rouge to much spicy they can take the ultime

Working from home, I don’t get as many compliments as before but my husband always notices Indigo by Nest and BDK’s Gris Charnel. 🙂 He also likes Gris Dior… Chance Eau Tendre and Radiant Nectar by Clean are ones I usually wear if I need to go to the office and people like these a lot. 🙂

I finally bought Woman in Gold last year, it is a beautiful vanilla perfume, I feel like a rich lady when I eear it lolll, underrated but great and I love it!!!
Mine are Simone andreoli Malibu party in the bay, Xerjoff lira, Nishane hundred silent ways, Valentino donna(the og), exalte and oud satin mood layered, Delina exclusif, alien essence absolue, Dior amber nuit, jo Malone myrrh and tonka and Versace yellow diamond. I know that’s a lot but I’ve gotten multiple complaints on all of them, I do overspray so I feel like I get compliments anytime I wear fragrance because I am an oversprayer

@@VerityScents if you like creed virgin island water then you will love Malibu party in the bay(he has a few others I really love but Malibu is my fav) and it lasts longer and smells better than creed imo. I get an insane amount of compliments and I will sometimes layer it with JHAG not a perfume. It’s amazing for summer.

Hmmm tbh I would probably start with the odyssey collection, they are quite modern takes on the amouage ethos and guidance is definitely an amazing scent 😍
Hi. What do you think of L'Interdit Intense? I'm trying to decide between Rouge and Intense. I know what Rouge smells like but can't imagine L'Interdit with a sesame note.
Hi there, to be honest its actually also very lovely, the sesame really works, it seems a little more peppery and more green than the rouge, I have to admit I’m a bit addicted to powdery perfumes which is why I love the rouge so much, but to be fair this whole range of L’interdit is so nice, I wish I could own all of them lol, let me know which one you go for 😊
Intense is great! I'd say indeed a bit greener, a bit "colder" I would say. It is quite peppery also so if you do not like that spicy touch of pepper, it might not be for you. But surely, if you can, first try to smell them side by side.
I have both and am allergic to the rouge. Never ,ever had that before. The rouge is more powdery but the intense is so creamy and that sesame note ,so delicious.
@@sandisteko9067 ohh, I'm so sorry that happened to you. I had such a reaction to 👽. But then I kept on spraying it on clothes and had no issue. The Intense to me is so alluring, I love it!
