Cobalt 60 is definitely strong enough to induce activity with its gamma rays. It has two distinct gamma rays, both of which are in the meV range. Granted you would need many many mCi of Co60. The combined energy of both of Co60s intense gamma rays is 2.5 meV which is more than enough for Coulomb excitation reactions. mTa180 is an example. Great video by the way. Subscribed to your channel
