Blake you should spray the outside of the big fishes pool with a spray on truck bed liner. It will turn it into a hard plastic and it will be harder for the fish to put holes in. I saw another RU-vid channel that did it for their small alligator and it works.

Hey blake you should try decorating the pool with some plants. Maybe lillypads or other floatings plants. And mabey some pots with water plants, if you dont want to have dirt at the buttom. It will look much better, give enrichment to the fish and helo keep the water clean
