Once I was at lost diamond and one of the rides broke one of the slides broke and I went face-first into the water and Sullivan luckily there was a firefighter that was there and they jumped in the water to save me and all my friends but we were but we couldn't breathe at all and we got rushed to the hospital but luckily we were under the water too long cuz if we where we would have died
I didn’t see the shark one, I was on a shark one like the click bait. It was awesome untill I got to the bottom. (Were the sharks were) well it turns out your supposed to wait for it to slowly make you go towards the end. I thought that we got stuck so I said to my friend that was riding on that back to stand up a tiny bit so that we could move forward. Well that was a mistake... there was someone that came behind us and told us not to stand up, well... yelled. Keep in mind there are sharks out side of the little tank or whatever. We eventually got out and we had a bunch of people tell us to never stand up on this water slide, and that we could crack the ride or something. (I was like 10 at the time, still should of known better, lol). Well, that’s my story hope you liked it. PS, I didn’t look through my story so if there’s mistakes sorry 😐.
well if i went down a water slide and at the end is a tank of sharks and we go through a hall way then we drop in the pool i would not mind because sharks are not meant to attack us if we enter their territory and and they get scared and they can't control them selves then they bite us on accident.
I went on one of those shark ones before, it was pretty cool. The fact that we were moving so slowly to see the sharks made me think that I was stuck too but didn't stand up because nobody seemed scared. I have not been on one of those since but I really want to now. I love sharks, my username shows that too.
There is a water slide in Sioux falls south Dakota that I was on. As I went down my left butt cheek was over the top of the slide and only by the grace of God I didn't fall about 2 to 3 stories down! There are always some variables the water slide creators didn't take into account because the chance of that happening was so small they just shrugged it off! That was one of the scariest moments in my life

For number four in Kansas City I saw the water slide in person, I was staying at a Great Wolf Lodge and when I would look outside of my room I saw that water slide, I asked my dad about it and he told me the story and how its going to be taken apart, this happened not to long ago. But don’t let that story of what happened to him scare you, he didn’t follow the rules and requirements of the ride, causing him to get decapitated. So please, everyone out there, be smart and safe, and follow the rules and requirements when you are riding a water slide.
Actually, the ride had a malfunction. Several customers complained that the seat belts were damaged but they were not fixed. That was not the boy's fault. The company and some of the employees have been charged.
The boy was with 2 other women. They got hurt too. There were metal cages surrounding the slide so you wouldn't fly off due to the hills on the slide causing you to become air born. That is what happened. They went air born and his head smacked the metal railing causing him to be decapitated. The other woman broke her jaw and the second one broke her eye socket. Wasn't bc they weren't following rules.
Nova The Wolf yeah, I was there when it happened. I didn’t directly see it happen in front of me, but it was insane. That day was especially weird, because it was abnormally cold at a time when it was expected to be warm.

Well actually the boy was riding with two other woman in the raft who were not related to him, and his brother was waiting at the bottom of the slide. And just a note, the slide is now completely taken down

At 2:34 did you just say that "it's not the parks fault"? It definitely is. This is why preventive maintenance programs are there to avoid these incidents. It is the parks fault. And part do not break unexpectedly. That's called predictive maintenance. After certain time you just change parts like wheels and bearings.
Harry Vir I live near cedar point and it’s actually one of their worst accidents that wasn’t because the machine wasn’t tested right. They test every ride before opening and usually close any rides that don’t work. Because this specific ride malfunctioned AFTER it was given the ok, it technically isn’t the parks fault

Yeah, I was looking forward to that. Although I suspected it was fake, which is why I decided to watch and find out. But there wasn't anything like it. I thought at least the sharks were fake, not the whole ride.
But there are slides with sharks in water just outside the clear slide in them, just not this fake photoshop example. And the real shark seeing rides are safe.
My brother had to go to the hospital after almost drowning in a water park at Florida and choked on water that water park was almost closed but sued he survived.
I remember once my mom told me, a boy once got decapitated once because it was one of those slides where there is sometimes a roof but sometimes not. So the boy looked up when there wasn't a roof but then, suddenly the roof came and his head got decapitated. If you don't know what decapitated means, it means someones head gets chopped off. My family and I went to a water park in Tenerife over the summer in 2017. My two sisters went on a slide there. They sat in a raft and on the way down the raft nearly flew off the edge of the slide and onto the stairs you had to climb to get to the top of the slide. People climbing the stairs saw them and screamed because they almost flew on top of them. Luckily they were fine but it gave them a big fright and they didn’t go on the water slide again. The end. Lmao Edit : I remembered another story So at the same water park ( this is completely my fault btw ) me and my mum went on another slide. Before sending you down on the raft the life gaurds would tell you to keep your ‘backside’ up. But I being the idiot I am decided not to listen. There were these vent kind of things that would come up at the bottom of the slide every now and then and if your ‘ backside ‘ went over when of them it would hurt really bad. I somehow then slipped into a position where my back was in the ring of the raft other then my ‘backside’ and when it came to one of the vent things it cut all down my back. I somehow didn’t realize that it had cut me until my mum pointed it out after getting off the slide. So ye that’s my story ;-;

As a KC Native I rode the Verrukt multiple times and have never heard or seen anyone else be injured on it. When it was still up they literally weighed your group to make sure the 3 of you added to 400 lbs. However, the straps holding you in were Velcro and the net above the slide only was a few feet above my head as someone who is 5’5 or so. It was something that could have been foreseen, but certainly not something as serious as a 10 year old boy being decapitated

During a visit to Maui Sands in Sandusky, I was riding on of the two largest slides there and had the biggest scare ever. The reason behind this was because during my tube ride, my float had almost flipped during one of the steep drops, scraping a bit of skin off my ankle. Now to think on how easily my float could have completely flipped over and possibly broke my neck, I'm scared to go on waterslides anymore. I wish luck to anyone who ever goes on a life threating ride such as the ones listed in the video have a safe trip.
I went a water slide and it had one of those giant toilet Bowl things at the bottom and I kept running into the walls and Bruised my hip and back. It was all black and blue. Ouch....

Here’s my story. So yesterday I went to runaway rapids me and my mom went on a gigantic waterslide It was pretty slow at first then when I got fast my legs slid down and my hand was holding onto the grip bar on the inner tube and when I got to the dip it felt like I was flying in the air. I had my eyes closed the whole time and Once we got down into the pool of water I almost drowned because I don’t know how to swim I tried to swim up when my head got out the water I used my leg to hop to my mom the lifeguard helped me and I was OK YAY
You don’t go on a fricking water slide if u don’t know how to swim. It wouldn’t have been their fault if u got injured at the end but during the ride yes
When I was like 10 years I almost fell of this ride, I was really skinny and the protector belt (idk if this is the correct term but ok), the thing wasn’t tight enough, and I was screaming and my mom holding me, jeez the ride is old and not smooth, it was horrible and I love roller coasters

I was once with my friend, at water country, and there's this ride I think it's call a black hole, but when it was our turn to get on, when we were going, the float suddenly stopped and we were stuck and the float was deflating, it was because the beginning of the slide was a different piece then the long tube type thing, so it was like one part like an inch taller, so our float got caught it people were taking pictures while me and my friend were screaming "help!" And we were crying while the float was deflating, but then finally someone nudged the employee and he noticed us and he pushed us in time

I saw number 4 as I was driving past on a road trip. It was abandoned. I was with my family, and we parked because we were curious as to why it was so empty. As soon as we found out what happened, we got the heck outta there. There was something eerie about it that gave off a creepy vibe.
People not getting around a loop on a water slide is common. I have seen it many times with my own eyes when I went to The Wilderness at Wisconsin Dells.

Here’s my story. Nobody got injured from it, but it is kinda interesting. Anyways, me and my parents went to this waterpark in Spain. There was this one slide called the Boomerang, and we went on it. It was only a 2 person tube, so i went with my dad. I had to sit in the back, which was weird because i am smaller. So, they pushed us off and BAM-it was a straight drop down, not a closed slide. At first i think the innertube fell off the drop then stuck back on so i thought i was going to die. After the drop, it sort of pushes you up another wall, and leaves you sliding from side to side until the tube stops moving. That’s it, bye! Wait,I have one more but its not as serious. Me and my mom were at Otter Cove Waterpark in Saint Charles. We went down this 2 person innertube slide, and it had a small drop, causing me to loosen from the tube a little (I was in the front, my mom in the back). Shortly after, the slide ended and I flew right out of the innertube!
I was at six flags and i had to go on a ride that was called...I think it was Rushin River. My mom,dad,bestie, her mom ,my other bestie,sister,and 2 other people not related.we we're on the raft and there was a tiny waterfall that we pass and, if you're unlucky, you'll get drenched. And I got drenched by that waterfall.
Back in the 80s there were enclosed water slides branded as Hydrotubes built often inside of shopping malls. They were especially prevalent around the Portland, Oregon area. Most only lasted a couple of years if that partly because they caused injuries which lead to lawsuits.
I once rode the aqua loop at the wet ‘n’ wild waterpark in Queensland Australia. I was just at the right weight. When I went in, I was scared and really excited! When it was my turn, I went on the red one. To be honest, I actually stayed at the middle of the loop for 2 seconds! I managed to go down, continuing to the end. So I was almost in an accident on that ride!
There was one in Australia where the carriage flipped and 4 people died it was a good ride and my brother went on the ride the day before it flipped it was the river Rapids in wet and wild Queensland in dream world
I live right next to the verrukt and they havent taken it down. I have to drive by it eveeryday and remind myself about what happened. Imagine the family of the boy driving by the slide. I basically look at it everyday. Sliterbomb is still open. Even after a boy was decapitated there.

I've been on the black hole. It was fun as hell from what I remember, but I can see how it could've hurt someone. Wet n' Wild is closed now, and we have Volcano Bay to replace it, which kinda sucks cause it's expensive and doesnt hold the same nostalgia.
#4 I heard about that tragedy. It was a 10 year old boy. He was sitting in the wrong seat, and when him and his dad went up a ramp, the dad's son hit the upper part OUTSIDE the slide and was literally decapitated. That's both tragic and scary.
I want on a waterslide once and when I want down it I hit my head like 3 or 4 times and I had a migraine to where I had to go to the ER and I had A big knot on my head that’s why I will never go on a other one again in my life
Me and my brother got stuck in a pitch black tube for a good hour before they even found us and took a hour a firefighters almost whole crew the whole maintenance crew and a few broken bones and a ambulance we did not even win the sue cause there was "No proof we did not cause it"im still terrified of water slides even the babyones
