One thing is very unique about similarities between Meghalaya s Khasi Tribe and your friend who did host you in Highland. The girl feel me of my friend Larissa Marwyn from Khasi tribe of Meghalaya - same features and same idiosyncracy! And, we are very much accustomed to bettel nut and bettel leaves. And for the first time I had bettel nut in Shillong. I can guarantee you that after one you can withstand even minus 50 degree winter. Yaar!
