Ok, aside from the... interesting haircut, i feel like a lot of people underestimate Persian. The way its written and spoken is different. It has really difficult grammar for someone who doesn't speak similar languages, it has at least 10 different methods of speech and "accents" for different parts of Iran, of which they swap out words. For example, a word that might mean "ladder" in normal, modern Persian means "cold" in one of the speech methods called Gilaki. Or, the word "cousin" has 8 possible translations. Theres a few more but i dont feel like typing them lol.

All depends on what you already speak. There’s languages that share a lot of similarities and a lot carries over so it’s much easier to learn them. But English should be on this list, for a non native English speaker it’s said to be incredibly difficult.

difficulty in learning a language actually depends moreso on the similarity between it and your native language. yes, these languages are complex, and are certainly difficult for english speakers, but that doesn't mean they will be difficult for everyone.
