This song has only been out here for a couple of weeks, and the number of reactions is so pleasing, and even better, in close on 12 months now following Emma, I've only seen one negative reaction, and that was not Emma, the problem was the person reacting, because of his own personal situation, which became clear once a number of us called him out on it. This compilation is so good to see, as it shows so clearly just how many experienced reactors are struggling to find superlative words to describe Emma's performances, and even more impressive, in just 2 weeks, it's been viewed nearly 3.5 million times, and has been trending on RU-vid Music. Emma is constantly challenging us to find new and more descriptive words to describe the way she is performing an ever increasing range of songs, not just with Andre, and those songs are technically challenging, and that's without the health challenge that she says nothing about, and lives with every day, this new song effectively redefined perfection in a performance, I can't remember who said it now, but it's so true, as she's mentally preparing to go into full on belter mode, in several places through the song, there's a look in her eyes, and a curl of the lip that says so clearly, 'You don't know it yet, but I do, I'm coming for the very heart of your emotions right now, Look out, because I'm not taking prisoners, I mean this', and then moments later, another emotional bomb explodes where Emma is standing, and flattens everything within earshot, even more so with that enormous top note that she closes out with, the absolute power and length of that from her still tiny frame, it's a very hard heart that doesn't respond emotionally to that climactic close, it might not have been written for Emma originally, but she has very much made it her own, between Andre, Emma and TJ Oosterhuis, they have come up with the perfect song to follow on from Voila, a song that if there's any justice in this world will go diamond even sooner than Voila did. Last year, as she sang Voila, the chrysalis that had been hatching for so long emerged and soared as the butterfly of her dream, so eloquently expressed in another song that TJ was involved with, LAAT MIJ EEN VLINDER ZIJN , let me be a butterfly, released nearly a year before her first appearance with Andre.
