It's a shame the way things ended at City for Joe Hart. He was such a big part of turning City into the club they are today! And Caballero's clutch performance in the penalty shootout was the greatest display of goalkeeping I've ever seen. Ederson's always gets credit for his passing ability... But his goalkeeping is so underrated!

Yes Ederson is very good with his feet Can produce good saves But he isn't very reliable like Joe Hart If u remember the match against Real Madrid in UCL semifinals ,before the Guardiola era Joe hart was the one who kept us in the tie Joe's reliability was much higher than that of Ederson Yeah , it is true that Ederson get less shots on target to show his quality than Joe Hart But still Hart used to save us Ederson isn't that good enough to save a team tbh Don't get me wrong I'm not disrespecting I am just giving my perspective

i grew up watching hart play and he inspired me to play GK despite my height (160cm). I did not progress much playing GK but made few stops that saved my team. But my natural position is CB. I felt thankful to Hart for being my inspiration to play as a goalie.

Joe Hart had few weaknesses (namely distribution and reaction times to crossing headers) but he was an absolutely world class keeper and although Pep replacing him was probably the right choice for his system, Ederson is no where close to having the Shot Stopping and diving prowess of Joe Hart in his prime.
