I am an interior designer from Hong Kong and Macau and I once worked on a house for an IRISH lady who had a German Husband with Irish accent. They came from near Waterford and his parents moved about 100 years ago from Germany to Waterford to work at Waterford Crystal. Helping with the technique of how to make the glass. So he grew up there. Nice to see I would loved to go and see the Factory. Shame about the limited food supply. Better sticking to Scotland and Largs then Mark can get all his fish and chips to his hearts desire. G

I have a story.....we got our miniature Schnauzer puppy from my friend in Lismore, Waterford in 2015, her name is Crystal to honour her home town, Waterford Crystal is part of Royal Doulton in Staffordshire, the county I was born. A special bond with the UK & Ireland 😊

Love the honest view of the trials and tribulations of using a motorhome, which has become such an important aspect of 2020's culture. From a lovely couple who just travel , then report on what you see and do, with a fair bit of humour attached. The reports you give are sound and honest, which is what everyone wants...... the good , bad and ugly...... I really enjoy catching up on your travels in my late evenings in Bangkok Thailand, where its really hot ( monsoon season now)......its dark outside with the rain pouring down an being entertained with the adventures..... fabulous .. keep it up... its like an episode of a favourite tv show of old.... cuppa tea, cucumber sandwich or some prawn cocktail tune in and the imagination takes you there..... thank you

Pronounced shure, three great rivers of the region are the Barrow, Nore, and Suir. Hope you manage a stop over in Wexford town, not too far from Waterford, have not been in Waterford for many years will plan a trip next time I am home in Wexford. I have a Waterford Crystal Snow Bear one of only three made for twenty years service to a company I worked for many years ago.

Yes I got some pieces as wedding presents, Waterford crystal. In Northern Ireland, they have Tyrone Crystal, Dungannon, which is slightly cheaper. I saw how they made crystal, from start to finish. The ferry departs from Larne. Carrickfergus Castle and the harbour are worth a visit and you can do a bit of shopping across the road too. Icecream, cafes, Tesco, clothes & individual shops. You will enjoy it! Take Care & Stay Safe xxx Give Chicco a big hug from me

My Mother in Law, bought us a Waterford Crystal chandelier for a wedding present, I am going to have it taken down NOW and valued. She has passed on, the chandelier will be passing on too, never thought it could be worth a few bob! Come on Norwegian cruise!

I have smart tv can subscribe or like anything ,I don't know why some are unable to do it ,maybe some models don't ? Enjoy guys ,your not missing any good weather in England its been very mixed ,but generally cloudy ,4 or 5 hot days last few weeks .
Kebabs in Ireland are small, and expensive. I’ve only found 1 kebabs shop that does a good size for reasonable price. And I’ve travelled round Ireland extensively. What you paid is kind of standard for a meal nowadays. Order sandwiches next time out, sandwiches or panini services come with side of crisps and salad as a side in general.
I believe you mean Larne when talking about close to Carrickfergus. I can recommend some Chinese’s for Mark in both! Carrickfergus: Ma Ma Chef or Zu Zu. Larne: Circle K or Gangnam. All great choices. The north coast is a must see, start in Larne and work your way up, you would find yourself back in Ballycastle, Portrush etc. X
Oh the Waterford Crystal is wonderful.. I had an Aunt who worked at Whitefriers in Harrow.... the crystal glass there was world class... I think its no longer

My boss from 30years ago was an avid collector of waterford crystal,,he was amassing quite a collection even then,,it was expensive on his birthdays lol...I had my heart in my throat when mark was touching things Lisa,he's like a naughty child 😅...its a lovely place though isn't it..I really enjoyed this vlog,as I always do,had to giggle at the "cock" mug,cheeky imp is mark lol..stay safe you lovely trio ❤️
