Peru, Bulgaria, Italy, etc. In different countries, governments issue stamps of different denominations in unequal numbers. In addition, some lines are discontinued and others are introduced. As the illustrations on those discontinued stamps were associated with some specific social and political realities of the time of their issue, they are often valued for their beauty and historical significance by stamp collectors.
