Tbf "expensive vs cheap in London" is actually quite a catchy title! other suggestions could be cakes, fish n chips, "study cafe's", sandwiches, maybe even the vegan option for all the mentioned? Love your videos xx
"Grace Rates" 100% make this a series! I never usually leave comments, but just wanted to let you know that your videos bring me such joy. Honestly, they are the first thing I put on when I feel down or stressed out. They always leave me feeling better. Keep doing what you're doing Grace, it makes more of an impact than you know xxx
Sorted Food has been doing an "Expensive vs cheap in London" series for a while now, it could be so fun to see you collab with those guys for an episode!
I think the Sorted lads would overwhelm her (especially Jamie). I just picture her looking like a deer in headlights as they go about their antics and innuendos. I’d still love to see it though.
Two other great things about the premier inn brekkie a) they do loads of vegan options - including vegan sausages & bacon, b) kids under 16 eat for free and it's two kids to one adult. We always used to take my two daughters and their friends if they were having friends sleepover as it's be cheaper than feeding 4 teenagers plus the kids loved it as they could order what they wanted and go up as many times as they liked
As a premiere Inn employee I am so glad you enjoyed your experience. If you can tell me what site the permier Inn was in London I can past the link to this video on our team pages.they would really enjoy seeing your experience.
So good to see the dynamic duo on the case. It seems you can count on Honor to give you her honest opinion. So surprised to see Honor with short hair! It is a very pretty and flattering style for her. Good cut as well. So as I wonder if Grace will go short.... Back to breakfast. This was such a useful video! Great choices. Will ask for Sylvia as well.😉
I recently went to a hotel breakfast buffet and the whole buffet system was changed as well because of covid. Most things had to be ordered. I know this is better for sanitary reasons and freshness and less food waste but as an introvert I hated having to order things over and over. I felt like I was bugging the wait staff and I really just missed the old way where you never felt judged for taking 10 sausages at once😅
Yay for Premier inn! I stay in Premier inns in London every week for work and they honestly are SO reliable and usually staff are so helpful. Shame they're getting so expensive but glad to see them getting their recognition!! Shard one did look like an amazing one off experience though.
I know other creators have done this kind of video/series before, but I have to say I really love the way you do these videos. They’re refreshingly unfiltered. Looking forward to more! :D
I appreciate your honest opinion and I think it's great having your friend with you who has slightly different tastes and can review things you might not necessarily try (prawns, coffee, etc.) Is her name Anna, too? I think I remember seeing her in another video you did.
I don't know if it's just the standalone Premier Inns (not attached to a restaurant) who aren't doing a cooked buffet, but as someone who does work in one attached to a restaurant we do the buffet for cooked and continental every day of the week! I think some are still only doing them Saturday/Sunday depending on whether they do table service for the latter meals (as some didn't switch back after COVID cos of staffing levels and tip money lol) - don't know if that is of anything to note or not! :)
I've definitely had breakfast at Premier Inns pre-Covid where they've cooked to order. Perhaps it depends on each location what they decide to do? Personally, I much prefer cook to order.
some of the other suggestions for a name are quite good. Thrifty treats vs expensive eats came to mind. The other one was...High and Low, Let's Go. yeah, I know, kinda corny. Can't wait to see what you cover!
Wow, the first place is incredible! Love your videos, keep it up...you are at Strictly Dumping level with these restaurant reviews...awesome! LOL, loved the fancy toilet review. The Inn looked good, seemed great value for the price which is why maybe you liked it better.
i used to watched ur videos a lot then u stopped showing up on my recommended and then yesterday a video of your showed up and now i’m like 20 videos in and i love it!!
Premier Inn did the cook to order thing even before Covid - it's one of the reasons I'd pick them if I needed a cheap hotel. It has gone up though - I think it used to be £8 for cooked and maybe £6 continental.
i feel like you should have tasted the parfait at the fancy hotel!! like the premier inn is good for the savory and the fancy for the fruit and sweet (from the looks of it)
this is awesome grace!!! idk if you've heard of him but Barry Lewis on here does a 'cheap vs steep' series where he compares the same meals with more affordable and more expensive ingredients to see which parts work best. you should check it out!
Premier Inn breakfast is just immaculate. I personally prefer the buffet form as then I don't feel judged for ordering an obscene amount. But yes absolutely it'll be fresher cooked to order than left out on hot plates
Hi Grackle, I love your videos, they make me so happy and hungry!! Your Dad is also very cool (and the rest of the Booths!) Would you consider adding link or thank you button so we can donate or 'buy you a coffee'?
Can you just walk in to a Premier Inn and get a breakfast ? I've just booked a few days at the 'PI Hub' at Goodge Street but a warning popped up saying therre was no dining available on the dates I picked .. not worried about evening meals, but would have been nice to have a big breakfast before heading out. Now, we'll have to go somewhere as a first stop for our brekkie .. maybe to another PI or even a Travelodge
