Riana's act is one of the most smart and unique way of presenting magic. It's sad that America's Got Talent didn't see that. The Asia's Got Talent judges were also terrified of her, but they appreciated her talent and her way of presenting.

she was great on AGT but its not the show it's American audience that didn't get her. i got her when I first saw the Asias got talent video clip of her performance and it blew my mind but I think the judges caught on early and continued to be scared of her to help win her over with the audience.

Yes, I like to think of these videos as more of a "one way to do it." I feel that the explanations never quite explain it in a way that makes complete sense. a lot of assumptions are made, and rarely is there proof.. still i find these oddly entertaining.

Not just the house, the base of the house as well, which is where her legs were folded. That's actually an old trick that was exposed decades ago, which is why most big magicians don't use it nowadays unless it's part of a greater act. In fact, most of her magic tricks are quite simple and were used by other magicians before. but that's not the point because her talent is not in innovating or inventing new mind blowing magic tricks, but more in her performance and presentation. she uses simple tricks but she compiles them into an awesome performance, like a movie maker who uses CGI for the paranormal stuff in a horror film, the point is not the CGI but the movie as a whole.

I think he was also wrong about the camera possibly. See there’s a way you can get a person to choose the picture you want them too using mind games. I don’t personally know the specifics of them but many talented illusionists use them. And Riana is definitely a master of mind games. My bet is that somehow through placement of the photos or through some other way Riana made Mel choose bob.

It was already arranged, she just have to remember the number and it's corresponding names (same as to the camera one), so when the judge chose Bob, she then count the folded papers, remembered Bob's specific placeo in it, unfolded, and shown.

@@Allebsxii The camera showed the back though, plus it was raised and you could see the floor... impossible for people to walk to the box from the back unnoticed

@@JustACrayFangirl The background wall has a door and a sliding platform level with the bottom of the box. Once Rianna and cameraman clear the back, the actors open the cutout in the wall and slide the platform into the box. This way the folks could move reasonably undetected by the audience into the box one at a time. The platform keeps the actors from being exposed as they are moving from background to the box. The back of the box opens inward unlike the sides and the front. When Rianna goes into the box, she does the same as the actors, only in reverse.

the people were hiding behind that huge screen right behind the box and there is an opening on the screen. There is a latch and a door on the back of the box that they connect to the opening so the people can climb into the box in turn. In the end when she appears next to anggun she climbs into the box crawls over the latch bridge and behind the screen. You can see the zombie guy goes behind the box to close it, and meanwhile riana runs around the stage and behind the judges to scare them
