This is awesome, never would have expected a strider on your channel. You seem like the antithesis to the stereotypical strider "fuck you any questions" fanatic, so this was really fresh and fun to watch. Hyped for more content!
🤣🤣🤣 I mean, same here -- never expected to find one of these on my desk! I had a blast checking this wild thing out, so I'm glad you enjoyed the end result.
Haha thank you for teaching me what all the terms mean! The one thing I forgot I wanted to walk through was the different size models in this same general pattern. But overall I am happy with how it turned out.
The lanyard hole issue can be easily negated by only feeding it through one hole as opposed to both. Great video, wish there was more Strider content out there!
OMG, I absolutely love this knife. You nailed it with your "Nightmare Before Christmas" assessment. I imagine this is a multi-thousand dollar knife but this is the first "Halloween" knife I've ever been seriously tempted by. That G-10 scale texture/coloring is just phenomenal, as well as adding in the text for the Trypophobia warning... I know a gal who has it (the first I've ever met) and this knife would absolutely give her fits 😆.
wow now thats a crazy looking knife i like it i like it lol i wish they would make the same style knife but with cheaper parts so poor people like me could afford to buy one lol
Never been a fan of CRKs or Hinderer's, but there is something about the no compromises approach that Mick Strider has that catches my attention. As a consequence I do own both a performance SnG and SMF as part of my perma collection. One day I hope to add a custom to that list.
@@KnifeNerdery All-around nerd, so to speak. As my native language is German, I was very happy how well you explained halftone. Awesome knife, really evocative design, thanks for the review! 🙌
That's an interesting point -- I've never had anything from any of them on the channel before, have I? I have handled a handful of CRK's, but I've actually still to this day never handled anything from Hinderer, and only this one (custom) Strider. 🤔
It's been 2 months, and now I own my own Small Sebenza in an Insingo blade. 😅 About time! I also realized I *had* handled a Strider before this, briefly, at Blade Show. Still never handled anything from Hinderer, though.
