Actually it’s not injuries and illnesses for Aryna usually more like Vekic and Samsonova. Elena is more likely to be ill or injured

Ostapenko isn’t the most consistent player, for sure. And she is a bit of a goofball. But, I think it’s pretty funny how she always seems to pull her game together every time she plays Iga… just sayin’ 😎

If they keep playing, eventually Iga will beat Ostapenko and figure her out. That's what all time greats do against inconsistent one-slam wonders.

Ostapenko so making and pushing iga back with her power strokes, iga doesn't like that, kreijicova uses the same tactic to beat iga, she gets rattled if they attack both serves also, that's the trick attack both serves and push her off the baseline, her vulnerability is movement back court, plus iga hasn't figured out grass courts yet, but I'd say she will figure it out soon 😊

For Iga Jelena Ostapenko and Elena Rybakina are the most problematic players, purely because of the game style. For Aryna Sabalenka the most dangerous players are Amanda Anisimova and Donna Vekić, finally for Elena Rybakina the toughest ones to beat are Ludmilla Samsonova and Barbora Krejcikova. Every dominant player has its own nemesis...

Yes and I wish more players had the mindset of Ostapenka and not be frightened of Swiatek. All you have to do is play attacking tennis and make fewer errors than Swiatek, which is not that difficult because it is easy to rattle Swiatek, now especially as her serve is getting weaker and weaker. How Swiatek has won 5 Grand Slams I don't know. It's all down to a very weak era in women's tennis.

@@marykistnen6837 I somewhat agree with you. It is easy to rattle Iga but she is an exceptional player especially on clay. She does not do as well on grass and hard courts especially grand slams.

@@Lederius18she isnt doing as well as she is doing on clay, because her numbers are extraordinary on that surface. Still she has the best winrate on hard than any other in each of the past 3 years (87% in 2022, 85% in 2023 and 85% in 2024). Dont try to present it as she is bad on hard

Wrong strategy from Iga against her... Just hitting quick and hard is not working. She's crafty she needs to slow her down, slice, drop shot, lift... Maybe I'm wrong but she would win more games at least I guess

Iga must be really crying in her free time because of Ostapenko, heavy tears collected into her slam/finals cups, wiped with her olympic medal while Jelena can't even reach any slam final since 2017 RG. It brings you a question if this is a winning situation for Penko if she's only relevant for beating Iga while Iga is relevant for winning 5 slams, 20+ titles, olympic medal and passing Justine Henin in weeks at no.1 next week (and Barty in 4 more weeks) . Even 10 more wins over Iga won't win Penko anything important and she's hardly Hall of Famer atm with just 1 slam title a no.5 ranking.
