this is such a wonderful idea. seniors are often so lonely for so many reason but having them spend time with kids must make them so happy and the kids get to spend time with a grandparent of sorts who can help them also feel good about themselves ... 😭😭 makes me wanna cry it’s so special

Our culture writes off the elders. I think it’s absolutely criminal! Other cultures hold their elders in high esteem. There’s so much valuable information that can be passed on to younger generations. Perhaps, this is one of the reasons why our society is in crisis?! However, it’s wonderful to see this video. It gives me hope. 😊

I loved this programme 😍💕😍 This time last year one of my best friends ,Jack,died 😪.He was a neighbour and was 105yrs old ,45yrs older than me . I knew him for 22yrs and miss him so much😔 .I would love to be friends with the children and the residents .They are very special .🙂💕

This can create a lot of stress and disappointment for the adults as the children may not interact with them and end up playing with one another. Some adult may even be ignored by the children. So it may require careful planning and coordination

It's beautiful. A while back there was a video about a care home for seniors whose staff had issues finding childcare. They opened one in the care home and invited the seniors in everyday. Soon there were plants hanging everywhere - cats & birds throughout and they often baked lunches together, read, did art and the health of everyone involved changed so dramatically. Its seems so natural & logical. It us very inspiring! 🌺
