Even though she was voted out second, this is probably Amber’s best season character wise. She was a great narrator and delivered one of the best confessionals of all time. If only she played without Rob.
One of my pregame wishes for this season was to see Amber beat her husband again, and when she had that opening confessional where she mentioned wanting to do just that, I got chills. Rob absolutly screwed her over. If he had just been honest with Sandra during Island of the Idols about both of them comming out, it would have been very easy for Rob to come to the conclusion "I'm prolly not gonna be paired with either you or Ambah at the stat' of the game, which means you both will likely be on the same tribe." And Sandra would have been like, "No worries bro, I got her back." It might not have been true, but Sandra would be much more inclined to work with Amber if Rob didn't spend 30+ days on the Island of the Idols withholding information from her.
Rob was not her problem. Amber was just not up to speed on how the game is now played. Also, none of the other 18 players wanted to see both Rob & Amber stay in the game.
@@beeer19 I don't buy that. Not for a second. If Sandra was willing to work with Amber, she would have found a way to get the majority votes on Kim at that first tribal. I guarantee it.
@@gusadie69 I've said this since All-Stars! Ever since All-Stars she's always been in the moment, chill, and generally happy and go with the flow yet has a huge pulse on reality with a highly underrated competitive side. Plus she's gorgeous but isn't stuck-up at ALL.
Ambers confessional tonight is definitely a top 10 one. Its sad that she was voted out so early and was purple even on extinction, but to think about how her life has been built around the game and how this is definitely her last time playing, its a really bittersweet ending
TheMurrmursonbottle Amber honestly wasn’t that purple and she honestly got more personal content this season compared to Australia and All Stars combined. She even has more confessionals than Denise, who is still in the game.
Sam Liu it’s when a character on survivor is basically nonexistent on the show. it stems from Survivor Nicaragua, where there was a girl called “purple kelly” who was completely invisible for most of the season.
Survivor Fan I agree, it was more for lack of a better term. I guess I could’ve said UTR, but Amber has been invisible in a lot of edge segments, while getting some good personal content in others. The overall takeaway is that Amber had some of least memorable content on edge, especially since she just became Rob’s sidekick after he showed up.
Eager Turtle Yep I was thinking about saying that, but couldn’t articulate my thought properly. The idea of simplicity was poignant in that we are living pretty simple right now, however I feel like in our heads it’s anything but simple with all these fears and unknowns going on. Also, love your videos btw it’s always a treat to see a new one pop up in my feed
The two worst things about this season: 1- Episodes being only 40 minutes long 2- The boot order. Imagine a final 5 composed of Parvati, Ethan, Rob, Amber and Danni
Yeah. This final 5 (minus tony) is pretty underwhelming. They all wanted to play the game without setting off any alarms and by painting the smallest targets.
@@shwift8789 I dissagree. Michelle has been trying, really hard, all game to get her footing. If you think about it her game is similar to Spencer's game in Cagayan, constantly struggling to get out from the bottom, and comming in with a clutch immunity win right before the finals, and right now has a lot of friends on the jury. Denise has been lying low, but after that early move against Sandra, she kinda had to. Basically, everything Malcom said she would do going into the finals, she has done. She's been really good at subtly spreading her viewpoint in a way that has not been agressive. I was almost certain she was a goner when Tony caught her bringing him up in his spy nest. The only reason I can think that she survived was because what she said to Ben and Sarah did ring some truth to them, and they didn't budge when Tony went to them to try to turn the vote on her.
Roger Towny Jr. I agree. As much as I love the old school players, the final five is great. I wouldn’t mind Tony, Sarah, or Michelle winning. Denise’s move was amazing but I just personally am not a fan of her. I can’t wait to see who comes back into the game.
He’ll never run out of funny 😄 stories. He needs to have his own tv show with survivor guests and recall things that happened with scenes from seasons past sponsored by cbs.
Amber’s EoE is so beautiful and really strikes a chord with me right now. With the situation we’re all in, I think a lot of us have learned to slow down, stop, and just appreciate the smaller simpler things in life lately.
I didnt think I would ever see Tony sad but when he made a pouty face about the extortion note, that was hilarious 😂😂 so sad that next week is the ending ;(
I knowww! And the worst thing about it is that the ONLY reason he was even voted out was because he was with Rob. Like come on ik Rob's a meat shield but it would've been WAY better to see the cancer survivor who hadn't played in 17 years last rather than the 4-time player we literally saw 1 season ago.
Bored part of the reason why he was voted out too was probably BECAUSE he’s so likable. If he made it to the end with his amazing and inspirational story he would win. I was heartbroken to see him go so early too though, Ethan is definitely one of my favorite players AND has an underratedly great sense of humor!
He was my winner pick (high key any game he plays he’ll be my winner as he’s my favourite player of all time) and even though I knew it was foolish I’m still so bitter about all the early boots but especially his. If he made it to merge I would’ve accepted it but now I’m just snapping twigs. Cochran not being there didn’t help my bitterness either
Muhammed Autobahn and it kinda sucks that we really didn’t get to see them play to their full potential, like a lot of the old school players were clearly targeted before they even knew it
@@bruins94laurent85 yeah the 12 to 8 numbers Advantage at the start of the game didn't help Danni would have stayed on course I think they may have overcome being picked off one by one. If they replace Adam with todd and Michelle with vecepia' or Tina the numbers are even
Amber has always been awesome. In Australia she was the only one to call out Colby for not being loyal(back then it mattered) and warned Jeri about it. Sandra has always been awesome. Her decision to not stay in EOE is probably the second best moment of the season after Denise voted her out.
I really wish rob had gone early, so we could see amber played without being tethered to rob. Or if they made the swap onto a tribe together, according to nicks twitch it could’ve happened.
Some of the contestants did candid ("confessionals") just prior to the season premier. Amber said the only reason she did this season was to support her husband. Unfortunately, she underestimated the emotional effect of leaving her children would not only have on her, but also her children. In a separate posting they did reflecting on the loved ones visit, Amber talked about how she has suffered emotionally this entire season.
blixiss3 It’s funny how this explanation is only necessary in Survivor because of the definition of lowercase goat but anywhere else it’s pretty standard
Ok but have you thought about the confessional where Natalie bought Tyson the idol and gave him peanut butter and he started crying. This was probably one of my favorite things of the whole season because my favorite two finally got to work together even after my #1 was voted out first. I started crying when he did because he’s right it was so generous of her and I just loved that moment
Some suggestions for part 2: Tyson and Parvati's confessional in the first episode on Day 1, Tony when he talked about his last experience on Game Changers, Tony, Nick, and Yul with the shark scene, and Yul's confessional about the "Poker Alliance".
Very emotional season at times. I wonder what the players thought after watching the season for the first time. The Edge players (jury members) knew what was going on in the game, but the final 5 never knew what was going on on the Edge - maybe they got a little bit from Tyson but probably not much. I would love a casual interview with Sarah about her take after watching the season.
Oh, come on, I kept waiting for.. I think it was Jeremy's confessional, about Nick then they had the best edit ever in showing him slowly joining all these conversations. 😹😹 That's gotta deserve a spot, fuckin' hilarious.
Sandra honestly made a smart move. She knew she would NEVER have a shot at getting back in. So why the fuck suffer for days for no reason. Go to Panderosa and eat good, sleep good, drink good. Thays the Sandra way. Make the move thats best for you.
I think production edited rob confessional saying that he doesn't trust Sandra, if you look closely when he says Sandra is completely different and it looks edited
Hey loves! If anyone out there needs to hear it right now I just want to let you know that *Jesus is loving* He died out of love and He can still forgive you, even if you've run from Him, go back and allow Him to accept you with open arms. Love y'all have a wonderful day ❤
Tony making Ben feel bad for trying to hide an idol...after he blatantly blindsided him at the last tribal council? Gee Tony, I wonder why Ben's knee jerk reaction it to not trust you.
Ryan TBH I wish the old schoolers on Sele pulled in Jeremy, Natalie, and Michele versus Ben, Denise, and Adam. Targeting Natalie first was such a bad move.
