Tenn Qb is about to get hellfire unleashed on him from Ou Dline.. this will be not only the best Dline Ou has had in over a decade but the best secondary in over a decade too! SEC teams are counting on Ou's offense to be the weak link.. when the hell has Ou's offense been the weak link and with this new found D you all are in deeeeep doodoo!
The later you go into the season the more important the games become. So I vote LSU as most important. May be the deciding game for both LSU and OU for the cfp
I laugh at the bad blood hype about OU and Missouri. As a Sooner fan we don't particularly notice them in any emotional way. Just another solid team. In the Big12 they were never an issue either.
Arkansas is way more a rivalry than Misery, everyone wants OU not to be good, since 2000 we’ve been so consistent with the most 10 win seasons, they wish their programs could be as good… hey SEC nation how many losses does OU have at The “Palace On The Prairie?” BOOMER SOONER!!!
OU goes 10-2 first year in SEC, with narrow losses to…I know OU fans hate it but, Texas and LSU. I think Oklahoma will bring it against my tide and most certainly against Missouri.
I had us losing to Texass, LSU, and one other. I'll take the two losses though. I can't wait until Bama comes to Norman, it's going to be a fun atmosphere.
Bringing it doesn't equal walking out with a W. Do believe they'll be ready and compete from the jump. If Venables has got a solid O-Line this year I expect Sooners to bring it, no doubt. Gonna be a great Season win or lose Looking forward to my Missouri squad @ Bryant-Denny. Hell of an environment, Pretty stoked to see them match-up in Season. So many great dates on the SEC Calendar SEC + CFB get maximum chaos this year It's glorious. Greatest sporting contest on Earth
I agree Tennessee is the game that matters when it comes to how serious they will be taken. There is a lot of chatter about the O line being trash…. That’s just not the case, they seem pretty stable with transfers just not great at the 2 deep just yet: Some of SEC media seems as echo chamber as CNN
you dont seem to understand that Ou thinks 9 wins IS growing pains.. Ou doesnt expect 8 or 9 wins.. they expect Natty end of story.. can we curb our expectations of a season after a few losses YES , but to say Ou getting 8 or 9 wins is not growing pains is silly..
obviously texas isn’t the most important game bc everyone forgot it happened last year. tennessee is the take a breath game if OU wins but I feel like I will know more when they play ole miss.
SEC teams are about to find out how hard it is to win against OU and Texas wtf man. Yall are weird. They will both be in the top 4 between bama Texas OU Georgia
The next game is always the most important. But yes, Tennessee, will be an extra exciting day in Norman. Thank God we are out of the B12. Maybe the most boring conference in football. SEC welcome to The Palace on the Prairie.
@@Freespeech-p7x No it isn't. That game we had no QB and BOTH the TE and the RB had more pass attempts than our sorry excuse for a QB. Sure, if ever enter a game with our backup QB being useless, maybe that will happen. But in 100 years of football, it only happened once so far, so don't hold your breath.
The most important game is always Texas. Doesn’t matter how good or bad they are. We despise each other for one. And we compete for the same recruits as much as any two schools in the nation.
I agree with you. They have to get through Tennessee. If they do that, the SEC eyes will be opened. I think OU is gonna take them by storm. Boomer Sooner baby.

….Have to put Tenn. away & not allow Josh to think his team can ever have the type of Confidence to be thinking a”W””…….I am actually SALIVATING ON VEGAS OVER/UNDER 7 & 1/2…betting a Mrortgage payment on that Total…He’ll, I should bet the farm & borrow $$$ to bet on that 7 & 1/2!,
The most important game on OU’s schedule is, wait for it: . . . . THE NEXT GAME ON THE SCHEDULE.! duuuhh End of story. What the #£[ [ are you thinking?!!!!???
GREAT analysis! I would have to agree, beating da Vols is very important! HOWEVER, if you beat mighty bamo, then you have done something! I think anyone would agree with that!
They should swap final games eventually. Missouri finish the year against OU. Arkansas gets LSU on Black Friday every year. Keep Arkansas-Mizzou annual just move it from the final weekend.
NGL... As it is every year, the most important game of the year will be Texas... You can't pick ONE single game as the most important, but for me it has to be Texas...
The most important game for Oklahoma will be the next game they play. So today it’s Temple on August 30. Venables drives the go 1-0 this week, game 7 mentality to his players.
I agree with you the Tennessee game will be Big for my Sooners, but I think the first road test at Auburn, will say a lot about the Sooners if they come out of Jordan Hare Stadium, with a win and beat Texas, which is always a chore in it's self, if they can manage a 6-0 start that will definitely turn the conversation around about Oklahoma.
Every game is important. Those in the beginning help fine tune teamwork and position strength. Mid-season games are important to set a team up for playoffs, and the playoffs? We all know how important those are!!
I agree, Vols are the most important game. We take care of business and there will be a whole lotta people eating crow. Sooners will rag doll Mizzou, like they always have. The only games that concern me are @ Ol Miss and LSU
The only reason OU will have trouble in the sec is the refs because being new to sec. OU had trouble with Big12 refs last year because they were leaving.
heard of you in the ref. I like your analysis on OU and the reputation of the different fans and campuses. looking forward to meeting the teams. why people give credit to texas and not us is just unjustifiable. maybe you are just not paid so you don’t preach the “it’s texas’s year” every freaking year.
Tenn and SC may be the only 2 SEC teams OU can beat. I think they'll be 6-6 7-5 first season. Brutal schedule ahead for them. They may beat Tenn but will lose their first road game in Auburn.
@@Tijuanabill The top talented team in the country has issues with them your mid level sooners will as well. Where has OU played thats considered that hostile of an environment?
@@Ananias03 But that isn't the history of that stadium, is it? It's no big deal for anyone but Alabama. Other SEC teams go in there and whip them. Their home record isn't even good, really, if you take out the Alabama wins. Over rated venue. Over rated program. OU whipped their asses the last time we played them.
@@Tijuanabill LMAO!!!! You have no idea whats in store for yall. Yes that stadium is known as a hostile environment. And i will ask again, where has OU played thats even remotely as tough as Auburn in the big 12? You guys keep gassing over the large talent differences. OU is mid now. Whatever Alabama or GA or LSU does has absolutely no bearing on OU success. You all are delusional of where you see your team. Yall struggled last season with cupcakes and here you are thinking OU can do better than Alabama. How funny
@@Ananias03 If you think Auburn has a more talented roster than OU, then you must not be paying attention to recruiting. Has Auburn EVER had a better recruiting class than OU? I'm sure somewhere, some season they did. But by and large, OU has maintained a better roster than most of the SEC, all along. Where we fell short, was with what Bama, LSU, and UGA have done. Auburn ain't Bama. And if you think they are, you should go brush your tooth, and ask your uncle dad what he thinks.
Umm no OU sooner fan is out there saying we will win over 10 or 11 games this year.....we understand what are schedule looks like and where we are at talent wise so 8 or 9 game win season is where we are looking at as good starting point in out first year
@@Tijuanabill it doesn't matter on my end, I will always be a die hard sooners fan but let's be real, in college football today perception is reality and if enough people can affect a program in a negative way thru what we are doing now then ......🤷
@@antone9589 What are you even talking about? Are you legit saying internet comments can have an impact on the football field? What? Bro, how high are you right now? It's a lot, right? Like super duper omg where is my face levels of high, right?
