So I got the xline dct variant a week ago. It's amazing. No doubt. The paint quality.. Interiors. Features And performance..top notch. But please take my word here. ADAS is not for the city.. Or if you drive fast and bumper to bumper either in city or highway. I know people will say one isn't supposed to drive that way. But come on we all know with such exciting engine it's difficult to be tamed all the time, especially when you gotta be somewhere in time. So this happened with me on the second day of driving. I was doing 40kmph. The car ahead was probably at the same speed or a bit slower. I was a feet away from the car in front.. And all of a sudden the brakes locked up by itself and stopped the car right in the middle of the road with other cars tailing me. It could have been a mess. Luckily the one behind stopped just in time and so did the others behind him. So all those buying cars with ADAS level 2.. Be aware that this can happen even at higher speeds.. Causing a highway car pile wreck
Thanks for this interesting experience. Can you share how are you finding the maintenance for this matte finish and why did you choose this and not GTX which is more easy to maintain etc.
@@AK7731 because I love the matte colour over glossy paint. The maintainence ain't a joke. It needs a wash or just dusting every day. Even little dust is prominently visible.
Hi, i am confused in Gtx+ and Xline variant i want to know about xline color since it is a dark grey matt color looks great and premium but i am worried about maintaince of matt color. Is it good to buy matt color how it will work in long terms usuage and how to maintain it like washing or precautions required for it. Or should i opt for gtx+ variants which has glossy finish.
Matte paints keep getting more popular but they can only be hand-washed with special microfiber cloth, you would have to remove splashes , bird droppings and greasy oily substances super fast or else they will leave a glossy spot.. etc..so The Matte color will need a lot of dedication and attention to maintenance. So really depends on what you are able to do. Its not impossible after all :)
I liked the video overall. To the point. The only thing that annoyed me is that the Heading of the video says a comparison between GT-Line and X-Line, however, you keep mentioning the Tech line. I was here only to see the difference between GT-Line and X-Line
Ah yes thats because this video is actually the continuation of the techline variants. Didnt want to repeat the same facts in two videos :) Plus mentioning the techline is meant to give you an idea whether its worth it actually for you to consider more expensive gt-line for example. Thanks for the feedback 🙂
If you are looking only at the Seltos variants, then this one is a very good choice. But if you are willing to expand into other vehicle models as well, then are so many options for 24 Lakhs. So depends on what you want from your car.
Based on a rough analysis - if you want ADAS but more power, then XUV700 AX7 (7 seater) is an option. Hyryder (G or V) and Vitara (zeta+ ,alpha+) strong hybrids [so advanced tech] have much higher mileage, similar power.
