As someone who wore boots for 20 years the other thing I learned is to have two pairs of boots and switch them every day. The leather uppers lasted much longer that way.

Redbacks are the best boots I’ve ever owned. After 20+ years as firefighter I’ve spent over 15 of them in these boots. I’ve tried others. Easy to get in and out of. Very comfortable for long shifts. I’m on my 4th pair

Word of caution - the insole of these boots has a weird step at the heel. Those of us with flat feet will probably not like them. Even with good inserts they hurt my feet bottoms. Gave them to a coworker who loves them. Check them out before ordering to see if they're right for your feet.

We have a textured floor at a brand store I can't name...even Redbacks no more than 18mos without holes through them, 12-14mos smooth. Our shop is being refreshed this summer though thankfully. My number one tip is don't immediately throw away your old pair when you get a new pair. Keep the old ones with you and put them back on at lunch, so only wear the new ones half a day, for about a week. Easier, less painful break in. Main tip is for any of you that have never have a legitimate back issue, I don't mean a pulled muscle that goes away in a few days, I mean a chronic condition where you still have to work but you live in pain. The money 90% isn't worth going cheap. Your medical bills over time will kill that $200 cost of comfort. There's a fine balance when you have real hip and back issues vs money/longevity, but that's a personal calculation for yourselves to make.

Red backs have been hard to get lately in west Tennessee. Can still get them but will take a couple weeks. Now that’s getting them off the tool truck. Wouldn’t dare wear anything else in our line of work. Oil, Gas, Coolant and anything else you can think of doesn’t stand a chance against these. God bless

Was wondering if those are lightweight, because I bought a pair of Ariat composite toe boots that look very similar to those, and they are pretty heavy. I'm 70 now and I don't do a lot of hard work, but I needed some good boots when I cut trees, so they fit the bill. But I would like a lighter pair for working on things that won't be crushing my toes.

Good video ! I’ve never heard of this brand. I’m in California. I’ve been in the hvac trade for 40 years. Never really thought about shoes. I’ve just Allways worn the timberlands for Climbing up the sides of buildings all day long and servicing hvac on commercial roof tops. They allways served me well. I Have a Pair of Timberlands that are probably 30-40 years old & I had a Shoe guy / Cobbler Rebuild them probably 20 years ago and add Vibram soles to them. Great Work boots. I have not worn them much in the last 20 years as I moved into working in Kitchens & needed a Pair of Non-Slip work boots Which the Timberlands are Definately not. They are Like ice skates in a Kitchen. So , I have used “ Shoes for crews “ for non slip kitchen work boots. They are non slip , but a Piece of shit as far as a Quality work boot in my opinion of owning probably at least 6 pairs over the last years. They only last about 6 months if your lucky. I Wish I could find a Better pair of Non-Slip Work boots that are Very comfortable & are Quality made. Are These Work boots Non-Slip ? I’ll go check out thier page. Shoes are Very important ! They can either make Your Feet sore / tired very early into the day or Give Support and Make Your Life a Whole lot better. invest in A Good Quality Boot ! It’s one of the Best things u can do for Your Work day to make it Better ! Hvac trade for the last 40 years.
