Minecraft Transit Railway is a Minecraft mod based on Hong Kong's MTR, the London Underground, and the New York Subway. It adds trains, boats, cable cars, and planes to the game along with other miscellaneous blocks and items. With this mod, it is possible to build a fully functional railway system in your world!

Possibly the best transport mods there ever is on Minecraft. It even beats simpler mods, like railcraft. - reason: that had chunk loading issues and can’t render from far away. Another mod I have for railways is create mod. I may use that for moving mobs and heavy duty stuff, and maybe commuter rail whereas MTR would be for subways/metros/rapid transit and buses. MTR will be providing fare control regardless of system being used

Well, rtm is easier to learn and theres more trains and texture mods but theres still also bad points like trains are not automatic or that you have to make tunnels yourself etc..@@uu78kk

I believe Create is better in my opinion since you don’t have to make depots nor routes. You just need to assemble the train, make a schedule then place it on the conductor. - Riley

when I got the mod I was really happy and even more happy that I found a way to change the original Hong Kong to British’s trains since im British i like using this mod for fun i build for fun and travel for fun i mostly use quarts track and diamond so i can go places far away and watch the trains go weeeeeeé only problem is it was challenging to install the mod like it took me 4 hours to find the correct architechory

there are busses, when you install a train on the railway you can change the texture of the train in the settings. As far as I see both from their server and my personal build, they work the same way !

I like this mod the best out of all the traffic mods. It's a godlike mod. However, in Japan, where I live, MTR cannot compete with RTM's market share or popularity. It is very disappointing.

well I understand cuz railway in japan be like is Hey, go to next station in exactly 2 minutes or u will get punished and yes, most of the railway in Japan are controlled manually meanwhile in HK, we already have GoA2 semi-auto pilot and also these 2 mods are in different sytle, Real Train Mod are for those who wants to experience to be a train driver and test the skill meanwhile Minecraft Trainsit railway is the best choice if u just want to build a railway system
