This video is super helpful, so glad you called out the "bug eye effect" a lot of lenses leave people with and they think others can't tell they're wearing lenses. Thanks!
Yes! I’m tired of buying lenses and I look like a damn vampire! I want something natural! I am a pretty brown girl 💁🏾♀️ lol but seriously I want something different. I’m looking for gray or olive but nothing crazy looking or extremely expensive. I been doing research for days now!
I have green/hazel eyes and I tried the colorCL in Iris Green, and literally no change what so ever. I can't even tell I'm wearing color contacts. I really like Buzios, they are amazing.
I also have green/hazel eyes already and wanted a very natural looking contact to brighten up my already green eyes a bit. Candice - do you recommend Buzios?
Literally talk about bug eye effect in every video 😂 I'm trying to make it mainstream knowledge now I remember the days buying lenses from my eye doctor and feeling like I looked so fake, no anymore!!
@@DanicaRevamped ugh I need to get my financial life together so I can get some of the colorcl lenses!!!🤩💖💕💖 & those olens ?!? Forget it. Take my whole check, overdraft my account. Im done 😂😭😭
Thank you for your reviews!! I had that bug eye issue the very first time i ordered colorre contact lenses and i was tramatized!! Also I love that you give advice about light brown eyes versus dark brown. I have light brown eyes and alot of the time the color comes through too intensely rather than naturally. Thank you for these reviews!!
You're welcome I'm glad they are helping you shop :) Stay away from high pigmented lenses if your eyes are already light, you just need the ones that will enhance the color :) You will love the ColorCl Iris line, as well as the Elite Lenses
Super helpful video thank you!! I’ve been watching all your videos the past few days and haven’t seen anything on Desio lenses which I thought was one of the most popular brands. Is there a reason why?
Hi, Danica! I tried the Color CL Iris Green, Halo Green, and the Rio Buzios, and the only one that people could notice at all was the Buzios. However, it looks a tad fake on me because of the pupil hole isn't blended enough. Which green lenses should I try next? TTDeye? Which ones?. I don't like greens more warmer-toned than Buzios, as they just bring out my sallow undertones even more.
Danika, thank you for the great reviews on colored contacts. Following one of your videos, I ordered the Halo Pear and the Iris Pear green contacts. Im waiting on their arrival. Also used your discount code! Thank you for that! My natural eye color is a bit lighter than your beautiful shade, just have hints of green and yellow in them. I like color contacts that play on that. Again, I like them subtle and not too bright. Been wearing colored contacts for 20 years. Fresh look dimensions for light eyes. Unfortunately, they have discontinued the line 😢. Hopefully the pear ones I ordered, are similar. keep doing your awesome videos! You get right to the point with your reviews. Color contact companies should hire you! ❤
omg I never knew the bug-eye thing was an ACTUAL thing I just thought I was crazy!! ahah I unfortunately have bought the hidrocor mel from solotica and they do have a bug-eye effect! 😭 I have really dark brown eyes (almost considered black even) and I need contacts to see and I, unfortunately, bought two-yearly pairs so I'm kinda screwed and will have to stick with them for another year! ): What I have noticed is that I actually bought a pair of hidrocor mel contacts back in 2018, from the same website and everything, and they never had the bug-eye effect! Maybe they changed the design in some way? 🤔🤔
@@DanicaRevamped hi!! (yes this is a year later haha) I'm really liking the Buzios color and design for my new yearly pair but I'm also really loving on the O-lens Russian Velvet Green and I think I know what will be my tie-breaker.. do the O-lens lenses have the bug-eye effect?
The iris ones are the most natural Ive ever tried and Ive tried all of their colors, but they are not very lightening.. im looking for that kind of realism like the iris line but also something a bit brighter- do you know of a lens that fit this description? (dont care about the color as much as the realism and brightening, I have brown eyes like yours but dyed my hair brighter so Im looking to lighten up my look)
Solotica lenses are usually thick especially the yearly ones. The color is pretty but every second you feel there is a lens in your eye. Not comfortable at all. And overall the longer it says you can wear them the thicker the lens. Just an fyi😊
Thank you so much for the awesome and detailed video!!! This is so helpful and you are BEAUTIFUL. When you said the contact lasts six months, does that start from the moment you start wearing them? Or the moment you recieve them? Also, could I wear them everyday for six months? Thank you so much!!! Looking forward to hearing from you
Hello there! New fan here! Hehe I need your advice: I have dark hazel eyes, but they only seem green-grayish with intense lighting. I’d like to make them pop up a little more but not change the color a lot, just the brightness. I’ve already tried cl halo khaki and didn’t do a lot for me, is almost my eye color haha. Which ones would you recommend? Thanks a lot!! 🙌🏻💗
The brightest at the Solotica buzios, and the Russian velvet green. They are both a green with yellow undertone and will definitely brighten your eyes. Good luck!!
Yes they're pretty natural, open pupil hole design. They're one of hapa.kristins best lines. I didn't include them in this video because I made this video before I tried Hapa Kristin
I got Solotica's lovely Buzios - And - If you have light-medium brown eyes Buzios will not really give you the green you expect. It turns into a muddy khaki green. Which still looks extremely natural - but it may not be the green you (or I in this case) are looking for! :-)
Ohh probably because your eyes are lighter brown. I find that for my eyes they lighten them quite a lot, because they are a medium brown. You might like the Russian velvet green from O-Lens, it's also very light. Thanks for sharing this for others ♥️
Please can you suggest me between super natural green and Iris green. I have dark brown eyes. Earlier I have tried Iris brown but there is no difference. I want something that’s lightens the eye but also is very natural
I have really dark brown eyes. I want green contacts but don't want to lighten my eye colour, just change it from dark brown to dark green. Which ones should I get? (those with high transparency that will look more natural)
Thank u for this video. Which company according to u is the best one for the dry eye syndrome? Which one has the highest percentuale of water? Thank you for your suggestion!
Hey Danica! Do you still recommend the elite amber lenses? Do you wear them often? I'm looking for something super natural for my medium brown eyes. I tried the colorcl iris khakis but they hardly showed up.. Thanks in advance!
Hi, have you tried siesta crystal green or ttdeye HD green? These are two of my favorite natural greens. I think siesta crystal green is the most natural green and HD green is also natural but not as subtle. I noticed you have super natural green but have you tried super naturals yellow-green? Would be curious your thoughts between the two.
I never was able to get a hold of the super natural yellow green :( and yes I've tried the crystal green it was a pretty good lense. I'm working on the siesta crystal line right now, still haven't reviewed that whole line :)
What is more natural?? I have light hazel eyes and the color looks looks very natural but I’m curious is the ttdeye super natural green or the iris green more natural??
Slightly, but not by much. I personally don't notice a huge difference between ttdeye and ColorCl comfort wise. I always point people towards monthly or weekly lenses if their eyes are more sensitive (colorcl offers both!)
I have a question why around your eye its notice a little bit the colour its like the contact its too big for your eye , it happens me the same when i put hidrocor lenses , around my eye i can see the colour of the lenses around like a limbo ring
I am new to your channel but I LOVE IT!!! My biggest question to you is WHAT ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE (natural looking) colored contacts you have used???? I have an issue with contacts with a small pupil since it limits my vision sometimes. Thank you!!!
I wish Solotica would make lenses that have a blended faded tone for the iris and a light limbal ring for their light and bright green contacts, that way it would combine the exotic light green colors with the realistic looking blending for dark brown eyes and those (such as Asians) who don't have deep creases. Solutions look weird on Asians cause it almost looks more like it's one fake brand color on your eye instead of a real gradient blending. I dislike that we have to choose between the natural realistic designs by sacricing brightness of the color. The whole point of colored contacts is to significantly change your eye color imo. I'm not trying to go from dark brown to light brown. I want light green. 😄
I bought Solotica Mel on Nov. 2018 and it gave me a lot of bug eye effect (and interfered with my vision), unless when I had direct bright light on my eyes. Do you believe they have improved on the latest versions?
The exact thing happened to me. I was so disappointed. My first pair of Mel had everyone believing I had my dad’s green eyes. They were the best! So I ordered them again...exact same order but the ones I received were so fake looking. I was told they looked like lizard or zombie eyes! So I may order the amber this time around. I wPeru same thing will happen with Mel again.
@ken nazaryan No because your own limbal ring comes through so the overall effect is a subtle limbal ring. I don't think the pupil hole from the Halo line looks larger on people with very dark brown eyes IMO, I think the open pupil hole look is more obvious with the Tint Bling collection and the O-Lens Real Spanish one but some people don't mind that look. To each their own!
@ken nazaryan the cloud green still has a slight bug eye effect. the cloud gray doesn't on me however, neither does the cloud brown. I have seen these review they don't look like they have a bug eye effect but unfortunately I've never tried them myself :(
your best bet for daily greens are to check out o-lens, go on their website and see what they offer. other than that company, most others only offer yearly or monthly
What is the difference between O lens spanish real olive & Buzios? I really want the Buzios but the olives that i bought are pretty but doesn’t really show ip that much. I was wondering if buzios is the same because i don’t want to waste my money :( hope you response☺️
The Spanish real olive is a little darker, with more of an open pupil hole. The Buzios imo is more blended and natural looking but it's not as comfortable as the o lens. They are both very beautiful lenses though
This was an amazing review. Love it. What would you say is a contact that would lighten dark eye but blends in really well so has no bug eye effect for hazel and grey colors? cannot wear solotica due to comfort unfortunately. which hapakristin models do you recommend?
Im trying to find a green that will blend with my brown eyes not stand out too crazy just a slight change, I dont want light green/blue eyes I like darker eyes I just want mine to be a bit more on the green end of hazel I guess, buttttt my eyes are also a + so so far the only contacts that have the + prescriptions available are the solotica. So I guess I do not have much choice. Im nervous to try them because they are thick and they are yearly contacts, Ive only ever had monthly.....Also nervous to commit to $100 contacts if I dont like the colour, but I have darker or much more red brown eyes then you do so maybe it wont turn out too crazy vibrant on me after all.
I haven't tried it yet but I really really want to I've had my eye on that color for a long time because no it doesn't look like it has much of a bug eye effect. It probably looks similar to the halo line from colorcl
I just got the Lolites and they are soo natural!! No bug eye at all because the lens blends really well into your natural eye color. I usually don’t Iike limbal rings but on these it’s not super defined and is actually blue which you would think looks strange but it just gives your eyes a beautiful blueish hazel look. I’ve never tried anything quite like them actually, definitely recommend them and for a natural green without bug eye and a beautiful blend the Solotica Rio Buzios
Can anyone help me out? I've tried ordering from Olens twice now, but I am immediately declined (and I have more than enough money in my account) but my bank will immediately call me from the fraud department every time I try purchasing these. Is Olens' site compromised? can you only order these with a credit card or paypal account. Advice appreciated
Buzios is the best!! They’re soo natural even up close and blend so beautifully with brown eyes!! I honestly can’t say enough good things about them!! I really wish they would come out with more like them 😊 Which other pairs from Solotica would you say are made similarly?
Danica Revamped - I actually just got Avela as an unexpected present yesterday and I absolutely love them!! Graphite has been one that I’ve been interested in so I think I’m gonna order them today! Thank you for the recommendations I really appreciate it 😊
Hi, would you recommend the parrot green as a natural lense? Could it be comparable to the olens spanish olive? Are those natural patterns/ blending. Im having such a hard time choosing between olens or colorcl.
Nope the parrot looks nothing like the O-Lens real spanish they have completely different designs. The O-Lens looks a lot more natural with a better pupil hole. Basically all the greens I mentioned in this video have the most natural blending
Hm, not sure. It wasn't on purpose. I just used old footage from my original review of it on my channel. You can see it compared to my natural eye if you watch that video it's still on my channel
I really need help I was wondering if anyone knows the best daily prescription natural green contacts if so comment down below recommendations so I could check them out
