I loved this part of the musical so muchhh it's great to see this angle of it. Frances Mccann was perfect for the role of Misa I literally sobbed during her first performance.
@@rxseshavethxrns It technically was a concert - It had 3 shows originally (they did more due to public demand) , but it means it was probably on a lower budger, and didn't have elaberate sets.
@@TheAstip I was there on the opening night. The set was massive and the costumes were done well. Plus, after the initial three shows they added 11 when they moved it to the lyrical.
@@rxseshavethxrns I was there too, but compared to full scale shows, the set was not as dynamic as it could have been. Not to say it wasn't good, because it really was, but it cannot be compared to shows with weeks or month long runs.
I have nothing against this actress, she did a good job in the role, but the original English VA who sang the song has brought my standards up too high.
@@rebbecawitt581 It was in the Japanese version but I don't think it's too strict a thing Plus I know personally at least it'd be easier to sing with my hands at my side as opposed to held out like that
It’s also a staged concert, they may go more elaborate with the set design in a full show. Plus England is pretty engrained with Catholicism and the Church and may find imagery of Misa on a cross to be bothersome
