For clarification nitrogen is also stored in the leaves and fruit themselves but the nitrogen that is often referred to as being a “fixer” is sourced in the roots themselves. Thanks for watching 😀🌱
They were much larger than any Dove I've seen. Intrigued by your comment I looked it up - A fun fact both dove and pigeon refer to the 308 species of birds from the Columbidae family. There’s no difference between a pigeon and a dove in scientific nomenclature, but colloquial English tends to categorize them by size. Something called a dove is generally smaller than something called a pigeon, but that’s not always the case. A common pigeon, for example, is called both a rock dove and a rock pigeon. I never Knew 🤯 Thanks for watching 😀🌱
Thanks for sharing. I plant them next to other plants hoping they will benefit them when I pull them out. I have been defeating the purpose. What you are saying really makes sense 👍
Using your college words. Yes, let’s all mimic nature. Leave those roots alone. Loved the chill vibe of this video while dropping knowledge on us. All the best!
Love the video, so informative, I understand pulling brassicas, would you pull tomato’s ? I’m thinking of that Like usually one doesn’t compost tomato’s due to risk of disease
Believe it or not, it's not the tomatoes that harbor the disease, it's bacteria in the soil that tomatoes are susceptible to. With that being said if have a sick plant always remove it just to be safe!
Hello Turf!🖐 Fantastic video and regenerative growing tips for nitrogen via your beans!👏 Nice trellis with the bamboo poles!👍 Need to add this type of trellis to my Asian Yard Long beans before they get 3ft long; but will harvest when they are 18" long! I know little Turf is really growing; kiss him for me!💕 Blessings to you and family!💝 🦋7/5/2022🦋
Good conversation. It reminds me that I need to look into a mix of seeds to build a cover crop for pasture land..Seed is so expensive that I need to get it right the first time.Plants that hold carbon and nitrogen as well as create a good root system for water absorption. I think I might need help with it and reach out to the university AG dept..
@@TurfTherapy Any thoughts on what a gardener should study to get to the next level? You have so much knowledge,I’m curious where you studied.Or is it dedication and self taught?
The only formal studying I have was attending Marylands Master Gardeners course which I recommend every Garden/Lawn enthusiast takes. Other than that it’s just a pure passion for horticulture and agronomy that drives me to continue to learn.
