I'm sure God is looking down on his children crying. People are homeless some due to circumstances out of their control, yet there are people building homes that could be a motel or hotel that they stay in a week to maybe 2 months out of the year. Even their primary home has so many bedrooms and bathrooms for what they don't have people staying in them often. Just because you have a lot of money doesn't mean you need all that stuff. Don't give to a charity that has a CEO that makes a bunch of money have a builder build homes or apartment buildings for homeless and low income people for free for 2 yrs so they can get back on their feet and or get more education so they can get a better paying job.

Celebrities become so famous they can't leave their house. They can't go shopping at a store or go see a movie. It makes sense that they want lavish homes. If I could leave my house I would want it to be cool too.

Penn Gillette demolished his own house when it was sold to developers, I live in Vegas and have delivered plant and sprinklers to neighbors. He didn’t want his place or ideas to be used for anything after he vacated. Very smart man.

Gosh at 68 year's old me and a 9 year old little boy live in a one bedroom apartment that is Less than 900 square feet. These places look like castle's to me and this little boy. Dang I can't begin to imagine having that much space !

I enjoy watching the results of the rich and famous; I'm not jealous of their luxuries. They earned it.

I'm weird i guess if I ever won the lottery I'd buy me a new electric wheelchair and put the $ in the bank and use some money to build my dream home a small modest home that resembles a Hobbit hole with a wood stove that heats the home and for cooking and a vegetable garden near town but still secluded enough to go make art but still near public transportation and keep only enough money to live on for the rest of my life and donate the rest and still use some for insulin... I'd be very frugal and responsible and live modestly 😊

All of the homes could be considered tacky but the one in India, where women are raped by groups of men and the caste system is still in place is beyond tacky.

I think Richard Bransons island was the only one that made any sense because he could rent it out and it becomes self-sustaining. Some of these homes were just huge money pitfalls.

While these people (some of them) have worked hard for the wealth they have, I will never understand why you wouldn’t want to be the most loved person on the planet by doing good for others. If I were rich like that I would have so much fun going to a store and paying for groceries, meeting a great server at a restaurant and paying for a little home or student loans. Johnny Depp should invest in making that village a hotel. He would make the money back and more. Not that he needs it, but it’s something for his kids after he’s gone perhaps. I don’t like the fact that people can afford anything like this though, especially while I live paycheck to paycheck doing things that require a significant amount of skill and effort. It’s sickening how the rest of the world lives compared to these people. People in America are starving, especially right now. There’s the rich and the poor, barely any in between. It’s madness. When are corporations, companies, banks, industries, etc going to become more regulated so they aren’t causing the death of the planet and the destruction of small business and the economy as a whole? They buy up all the land, and kill the world. That’s all they’re good for. When is it going to be enough? When will it be time to do something? Everyone is so distracted they have you exactly where they want you. These videos are the distraction. Human greed is something that is infinite if you let it go unchecked.

I usually don't click on things pertaining to celebrity wealth, because even though I know they worked for it, it must be hard being a "celebrity", sarcasm intended, it just makes me sad because there are people living in cardboard boxes and you have more bedrooms and bathrooms than is necessary. The world is built on excess, if they took all their millions and lived in a modest home, we could eradicate homelessness and hunger. Children are starving but you have a home that is bigger than the white house, ridiculous. But I do like this channel, it lets me travel when I can't afford to IRL.

All of these homes are valued at (insert figures here) but what do they cost to own. How much is spent on they're upkeep, insurance, paint, water and the case of a storm wiping out out the whole lot, or fire or bomb blowing it and you away in one fell swoop, what does it cost to own a mansion worth that much?? Its far too much for me. I couldn't be given a house like these because I would find no value in owning it. It can't make momey (mostly) it except for the semi trailer can't be driven. In reality it can't do any more than provide a roof over your head and my home does that in spades and didn't cost 1% of these homes and it costs little to run thanks to the solar panels on the roof.

If I had that much money, I would want to build. I have been dreaming about building a jewel of a house. No more than 3500 ft.². Three bedrooms, four baths. Exterior trim on windows would be stone, mullion windows. On the front. French Doors on the back, leading out to the pool. Slate peaked roof. Under floor heating. Central air. Central vacuum. Wolf Gas stove top, gas oven, gas washer. Marble tile in bathrooms and kitchen. Subzero refrigerator freezer. Italian style kitchen with farmhouse sink. Hardwood floors throughout the rest of the house covered with oriental rugs/carpet. That’s just for starters. Sigh.
